Membership Rewards points may only be transferred to the Flying Club account of the main cardholder.

The transfer between American Express and Virgin Atlantic Flying Club is almost instant.

Points cannot be transferred back to American Express once credited to your Flying Club account.

Transfers of points can take up to 10 days to show. 

Membership Rewards points must be exchanged in units of 500 with a minimum of 1,000 per transfer.

Points are not earned on balance transfers, cash advances, American Express Traveller's Cheques purchases, foreign exchange, express cash transactions or any other account charges.
