How to auto-exchange your Clubcard vouchers into Virgin Points

An easy way to build up Virgin points without the hassle of logging on every time you get your Clubcard vouchers!

Simply register for Tesco Clubcard or sign in. Select Clubcard account from the headings and scroll down to select Clubcard management. From there, select Voucher schemes from the options listed and then choose ‘Virgin Points’.

You can exchange any Clubcard vouchers you already have, then on your next quarterly Clubcard statement your points will automatically be turned into Virgin Points.

You no longer need to wait for your quarterly statement to turn Clubcard points into Virgin Points. Instant Points lets you exchange Clubcard vouchers even sooner - as long as you’ve signed up to auto-exchange and have at least 150 Clubcard points.

To request Virgin Points instantly, visit the ‘My Points’ section and choose ‘Request Virgin Points’. You will then be taken to the confirmation page – to proceed, click on ‘Request Virgin Points’. Your Virgin Points should be in your account within seconds, and you will receive an email from Tesco Clubcard to confirm this.

How to manually exchange your Clubcard vouchers into Virgin Points

You can turn Clubcard vouchers into Virgin Points from as little as £1.50 whenever you like, not just when you receive your Clubcard statement.

To turn your Clubcard vouchers into Virgin Points online go to Tesco Clubcard website, choose the value of vouchers you would like to exchange and click 'add to basket'. Your points will then be credited to your Flying Club account within 28 days.

Earning Virgin Points:

*Clubcard points are not awarded on tobacco or tobacco related products, lottery, stamps, prescription medicines, infant formulae milk, Tesco Gift Cards, saving stamps, Esso fuel, in store concessions, Paypoint payments or for purchases of some Tesco Bank products. Other products may also be excluded from the scheme at the discretion of Tesco. Standard Clubcard terms and conditions apply, minimum spend to qualify for Clubcard points is £1. *** 30% bonus Virgin Points:  

  • Applicable to manual exchanges only

  • To receive a 30% bonus on top of the amount of Virgin Points awarded to you following your manual exchange, you must exchange your Clubcard vouchers to Virgin Points between 00.00 BST on 12 May 2026 and 23:59 BST on 30 June 2026.  

  • Multiple manual exchanges during this period are permitted.  

  • If you meet the above criteria, you will receive your Virgin Points and 30% bonus Virgin Points. For example, converting £10 of Clubcard vouchers (1,000 Clubcard points) will get you 2,000 Virgin Points and a bonus of 600 extra Virgin Points.

^Top-ups bought in the following places are eligible: Top-ups bought from a Tesco store (Clubcard must be scanned and registered to the customer's Tesco Mobile account); Top-ups bought via the Tesco Mobile website, SMS, Debit/Credit card over the phone and Automatic top-ups. Top-ups bought outside of Tesco or via ATMs (including Tesco Bank) or by e-top up outside of Tesco aren't eligible for Clubcard points.

Exchanging Virgin Points:

  1. Clubcard vouchers will be exchanged to Virgin Points within 28 days of the date of transaction.
  2. Clubcard points cannot be transferred back to your Clubcard account once exchanged and credited to your Flying Club account.

Please note

Only valid Clubcard vouchers (printed with the name of the Clubcard holder) making the booking, and that matches with name showing on the Clubcard Statement mailings and entitled 'voucher') can be turned into Virgin Points. Bookings can only be made by the Clubcard member. Vouchers may be pooled but only by members with accounts registered with Clubcard at the same postal address. Vouchers must be in date and not sold, damaged, defaced, copied, altered or redeemed.
