New European Entry-Exit System (EES)

From the 12th October, the EU is introducing new digital border checks known as Entry-Exit System (EES) for non-EU nationals entering/leaving the Schengen area. You may have your fingerprints & photo taken at the border when you land.

If you're connecting through Europe, you don’t need to do anything before you travel, but please be aware that checks at border controls could take a little longer than usual.
