Day 1: Hollywood Highlights and City Views

Morning
Start your holiday in LA with a walk along the Hollywood Walk of Fame, stopping by Hollywood Visitor Centre before continuing down the iconic boulevard, home to over 2,500 stars embedded in the pavement. After the walk, head to TCL Chinese Theatre  and take in a historic Hollywood tour experience, where you can see celebrity handprints and learn about the theatre’s unique history as a landmark of Hollywood’s red-carpet scene since 1927. If you are looking for even more Cinema history, seek out the Dolby Theatre inside the Ovation Hollywood shopping mall and entertainment complex, home of the Oscars, where you can tour to delve deeper into the history of the Oscars and the extravagantly designed venue.

Afternoon
Head up to Griffith Observatory for panoramic views of the city, one of the best things to do in Los Angeles. If you’re feeling active, continue past the observatory and hike further through Griffith Park to reach viewpoints overlooking the Hollywood Sign. Wander through the Griffith Observatory exhibits or take a short hike through the park to get closer views of the Hollywood Sign and surrounding hills.

Evening

Stay for sunset at a Hollywood Sign viewpoint before heading down to nearby Los Feliz. The area is full of cool restaurants and low-key bars, making it the perfect place to end the day after sightseeing in Hollywood.
