Our Upper Class Wing provides you with the ultimate departure experience when flying from London Heathrow. As your car pulls up, we'll be ready to greet you, process your baggage and give you your boarding pass. Be whisked through our private security channel straight to our Clubhouse. It's queue-free and totally A-List.

 

We welcome all Virgin Atlantic Upper Class and Delta One passengers flying from London Heathrow Terminal 3.

Arriving in your private car or taxi

As you approach Terminal 3, your driver will see signs for the Virgin Atlantic Upper Class Wing. When you reach the barrier, tell us your booking reference and ask your driver to park in one of the bays. We’ll greet you and take you through the Wing.

Arriving by public transport

Coming by train, Tube, or Heathrow Express? Check in at Zone A in the main Terminal 3 check-in area, then take the lift up to the Upper Class Wing to access the private security channel. We’ll take it from there.

Everything you need to know about the Upper Class Wing

Passengers travelling in the following cabins:

  • Upper Class on Virgin Atlantic + a guest travelling with Virgin Atlantic or Delta
  • Delta One on Delta


Passengers with the following loyalty status:

  • Flying Club Gold card members + a guest travelling with Virgin Atlantic or Delta
  • Delta Sky Miles Diamond and Platinum Medallions + a guest travelling on Virgin Atlantic or Delta
  • Flying Blue Platinum Members + a guest travelling on Virgin Atlantic or Delta
  • Virgin Australia Velocity Club Gold, Platinum and The Club card holders travelling on Virgin Atlantic

Where to find us

  • When you arrive at London Heathrow, ask your driver to turn left before the usual T3 drop off location, following the 'Virgin Upper Class Wing' sign.
  • At the top of the ramp, ask your driver to park in one of the bays, We’ll meet you there and see you on your way to the Clubhouse.
  • Exit as normal through the Terminal 3 forecourt. ANPR cameras will register your vehicle and automatically exempt the fee.

  • The Heathrow Airport Terminal Drop Off Charge does not apply to the Upper Class Wing

Uber may automatically add Heathrow’s terminal drop-off charge to your fare. If that happens, you can:

  • Open 'Help with this ride' in the Uber app and select your trip
  • Start a customer support chat, and request a refund through the messaging option
  • Let them know that the terminal drop-off charge doesn’t apply to the Upper Class Wing drop-off area
  • Uber will then arrange the refund directly

 

To enjoy the best of what the Upper Class Wing has to offer, we advise you to check in online when it opens, 24 hours before your flight.

If we have all your Advance Passenger Information, you'll get the smoothest transition through the Upper Class Wing and will be sipping on cocktails in the Clubhouse in no time. If you haven't been able to check in online, we can still do that when you arrive.

  • Please arrive at least 60 minutes prior to departure
  • The Wing is for drop off only - there's no parking.
  • Maximum vehicle height is 4.4 metres, weight is 7.5 tonnes and length is 5.8 metres
  • We can't accept stretched chauffeur cars or oversized vehicles like Humvees
