Handy hints to help you hit the ground running in Seoul.
Hop on Seoul’s subway - it’s clean, cheap, and easy to navigate with English signs. Buses are colour-coded to show their routes (blue for cross-city, green for local, red for express, and yellow for downtown loops). You can book taxis easily through the Kakao T app, but be sure to have your destination written in Korean. And keep in mind, this city loves a hill - so pack comfy shoes.
