Middle East Airspace – Travel Update

We’re closely monitoring the evolving situation following the escalation of conflict in the Middle East.

The safety and security of our customers and crew is always our number one priority. As a precautionary measure, we are temporarily avoiding Iraqi airspace and continue to review our flight paths in line with the latest information and guidance from international aviation authorities and our own rigorous safety standards.

As a result, some of our services are operating on adjusted routings and may experience slightly longer flight times.

We have also taken the decision to cancel the following services:

We encourage all customers travelling in the coming days to check the latest information via the Flight Status page on virginatlantic.com and ensure their contact details are up to date in My Booking.

We continue to monitor the situation closely, with ongoing dynamic assessments and changes to our flight routings based on the latest information and guidance, where required.
