    Your special meal will be confirmed at check-in and served during your flight.

When it comes to eating onboard, we put you in the pilot’s seat. If you’re flying with us in Premium or Upper Class, you can choose what main meal you’d like in advance. With a range of menu options to choose from you can relax knowing there’ll be something delicious waiting for you onboard. You can pre-order between 7 days and 24 hours before your flight*.

Absolutely. 

When it comes to eating and drinking onboard, we make a proper meal of it. Expect creative twists on British and local classics combined with surprising showstoppers, packed with a world of flavour. All made from the best quality ingredients, sustainably sourced, and served with Virgin Atlantic flair. Regardless of the cabin you’re flying in, you’ll find lots of foodie flourishes to keep you satisfied in the sky, including healthy energisers, warming favourites, and of course, our signature Mile High afternoon tea

Your health, safety and comfort is the most important thing to us. If you have allergies, we’ll do everything we can to make sure you can enjoy your flight without worrying about a thing. Make sure you contact us in advance of your flight so we have plenty of time to arrange everything you need. 

If we’re unable to cater for your specific dietary needs, you’re welcome to bring your own food onboard. Just let our Accessible Travel Services team know, they can increase your hand baggage allowance to make room. We can’t refrigerate or heat any food you bring with you, so make sure it’s good to go as is. And don’t forget, any food you travel with must comply with airport security and the customs rules of your destination.

We want to make sure our littlest fliers (and their parents) have a great flight with happy, full tummies. If you’re breastfeeding, you’re more than welcome to do this wherever and however you’re most comfortable – just let the crew know, we can help. If you need milk warming up, the crew can help you with this, and If you require a child meal or pureed baby meal, simply log in to My Booking at least 24 hours before your flight to order this.
