Three ways to fly, and the best crew in the sky. Economy doesn't have to be one-size-fits-all. In fact, we positively encourage you to be choosy with three different ways to fly.

Extra legroom
Book Economy Delight for extra legroom, plus priority check-in and boarding.
Preferred seats
Preferred seats are located towards the front of Economy or Premium and are available for an additional charge.
Flying Club Gold, Delta Diamond and Delta Platinum members can select Preferred seats free of charge, provided their membership number is added to the booking.
Exit row seats
Exit row seats offer extra legroom, but passengers may be asked to assist in an emergency.
To sit in an exit row, you must:
Front-row seats behind cabin dividers are reserved for passengers travelling with babies who may need a cot, and for customers with special assistance requirements.

Free, high-speed WiFi is arriving onboard our planes, with full rollout expected by 2027.
While Starlink rolls out across our fleet, many flights still offer our current onboard WiFi service. Packages and coverage may vary by aircraft and route, so what’s available will depend on the plane you’re flying on.
Additional baggage allowance can be purchased at check in
When you book your flight or log in to My Booking you’ll be able to select your seat from the seat map.
If you are flying in our Economy cabin, you can choose your seat for free at check in*, or at any time for a fee.**
If you are flying in our Premium or Upper Class cabins, you can choose your seat for free at any time.*
We’ll always do our best to give you your chosen seats but sometimes we have to make changes for operational reasons.
*If you are flying in Economy or Premium and want to select a Preferred Seat or an Exit Row seat, this will incur an additional charge.

If you’ve already chosen your seats, you can change your mind at any time before checking in. To change your seat selection, log in to My Booking.
Your new seat must be located in the same cabin as before, or you can choose to upgrade for an additional cost.
If you originally paid the extra charge for a Preferred seat, you could move to a different Preferred seat in the same cabin for free. If you later choose a non-Preferred seat after you have already paid you will not receive a refund.
If you pay to upgrade your cabin, the extra charge will be refunded.
We're usually able to honour seat selections but there are occasions when we need to shuffle things around due to an aircraft change or other operational reasons.
On the occasions where it’s necessary to move your seat, we will always try and match your seat and your party to a like for like location and seat type.
Sometimes this isn't possible if the aircraft configuration changes or we need to prioritise seating for customers with special requirements.
You can view your seats at any time and change them to other available seats in My Booking.
If you paid to select your seat, but didn’t receive that seat type, you may be eligible for a refund. See section below: 'How do I request a refund for a seat?'.
