The hotel is in the most convenient location that is close to EVERYTHING in the French Quarter! Burbon St., Canal St., etc was right outside the hotel doors. The MSY airport was a 20 minute ride.
The beds were super comfy and the shower got nice and hot, which was great for aching muscles after exploring the area.

A comfortable hotel, the rooms are dated but a very good mattress, I slept very well. I requested a room at the back of the hotel and is was perfectly quiet. The food was excellent but a very small menu with hardly a vegetable in sight! The dining/bar area is in the foyer and, as the weather was chilly, the food was not very warm by the time it arrived. Eric the bellhop was so helpful and a very hard working man, he never seemed to pause for breath.

Very nice room and clean. It was very quiet in the room even though it is in the french quarter. Many eating places near the hotel. We took the trolleys everywhere and it was quite convenient. First and foremost, our hearts are hurting for all of anew Orleans. Our prayers are with the victims, their families, first responders, and all those involved with the bourbon st. attack. Second, the Hyatt Centric French Quarter offered a sense of calmness amidst the chaos. Thank you to the employees that continued to work during this tragedy- I am so incredibly sorry that is something you have to do. Third, if you have the chance to visit this location, I hope everyone gets to meet Eric. He is a true joy. Eric is not only everything you want in an employee, but also a friend. We are so thankful our lives crossed paths with Eric. At the end of our stay, he shared a quote with us that will stay in our hearts forever: “Sun is always shining even when it’s dark outside”. Thank you, Hyatt Centric. Nola strong.

Ask for different pillows, but other than that, wonderful experience.....even in light of the tragedy on New Year's Day. Huge room, great bed, convenient to walk to everything....excellent location. Everyone was amazing! We WILL return to this hotel next time we're in NOLA.
