All of the hotel's guest rooms display a modern design, have 12ft ceilings and are very spacious. If you're looking to relax and regroup then your own peaceful pocket is just moments away in the hotel’s indoor atrium or French Quarter style garden courtyard. Another excellent option is the superb swimming pool which comes complete with bar and courtyard setting to help you relax and unwind prior to experiencing a wealth of on-site dining options. Enjoy casual ambience in the market with Powdered Sugar, traditional seafood dishes at the Red Fish Grill and cocktails and snacks at the Batch Bar. Of course, when you have direct access to the Hard Rock Café, burgers and live music can be quite enticing and thanks to the hotel’s gym you can devour whatever you fancy and still leave room for dessert.

“Beware misleading offers!”

We are currently staying at the Hyatt for one week, and while the room itself and the location are both good, the overall experience has been significantly undermined by what has been a confusing, inconsistent and ultimately misleading offer of a “complimentary grab-and-go breakfast.”
On arrival, the member of staff at reception appeared unsure about the details of the advertised May sale offer. To her credit, she initially issued us a voucher for a full breakfast while she checked the terms. However, this uncertainty set the tone for the rest of the week. On the second day, we again had to queue at reception to obtain breakfast vouchers. On the third day, after yet another queue, we were informed that we would now be issued a “business breakfast” voucher instead.
This voucher entitled us to little more than a muffin and a basic coffee and, astonishingly, could not even be used for a latte. This is particularly frustrating given that the café till prominently advertises the hotel’s “grab-and-go breakfast” as including fruit cups, croissants with bacon, and a wide selection of items — none of which were available to us under this so-called complimentary offer.
To compound matters, the hotel repeatedly failed to have sufficient vouchers printed, meaning that each morning involved another unnecessary queue at reception while staff attempted to locate or improvise vouchers that should have been readily available. This daily inconvenience is not what one expects from a hotel of this standing.
Overall, this has been a poorly communicated and chaotically managed promotion that feels misleading in practice. Instead of feeling valued as Hyatt guests, we have been left feeling inconvenienced, frustrated, and thoroughly unappreciated. This experience has detracted significantly from what should otherwise have been an enjoyable stay.
“Ideal location in French Quarter”

I arrived very early, around 8:30 in the morning, when normal check-in is 4 o’clock. Was offered early check-in for an additional $50, which I found very reasonable. Took about two hours from my room to be ready so I was inside at 10:30. Front desk staff was very friendly so was the Bell man Eric. I stored my luggage for those two hours, and then when check-in was ready, I was a bit surprised that I was pointed to the elevator with my luggage and not offered to be taken in person with my luggage. I think that’s the first time that happened to me in a hotel. I should’ve asked for a room closer to the elevator. It was a very long walk to get to my room and I wasn’t even at the end of the hall. My room overlook the courtyard, the one without the pool. I should’ve thought to ask for a street view. So those are two things that the check-in staff did not ask or comment or offer. Would have been good for me to have thought about it before. The room is very clean no complaints there. There were five pillows on the bed. All were way too soft, I will ask if they have firmer ones.
The location is ideal at the corner of Bourbon and Iberville. Could not be better to be in the middle of all the action.
