I have stayed here a couple of times. This was another good visit. It's located just off Bourbon St., which I like. You are not in the craziness but just steps away if you want to join in. I had the Jr. Suite, which I booked. I was hoping for a Globalist room upgrade, but that didn't happen. The room was a good size and the bed was… Read more

I had the Jr. Suite, which I booked. I was hoping for a Globalist room upgrade, but that didn't happen. The room was a good size and the bed was comfortable. The view was into the pool courtyard area. The bar here is mostly used for people grabbing a drink before going out for dinner, etc. It can get really slow after 7:00. I just had breakfast on my stay at the hotel. It was above average. Overall, it's a nice hotel in a good location. Keep in mind if you are parking at the hotel valet is $50+/night. Read less

The hotel location is great, right in the French Quarter and a close walk to restaurants etc. Our room with balcony was very good and staff generally were great. The bed was comfortable, with the room having plenty of storage space. We were given a quiet room that overlooked the pool area, which was pleasant. Negatives - the room had a very strong… Read more

The bed was comfortable, with the room having plenty of storage space. We were given a quiet room that overlooked the pool area, which was pleasant. Negatives - the room had a very strong smell of old cigarette smoke. Suggest you request a non smoking room. Also, the bath was uncomfortable due to a non slip grip. Read less

I'll start with the good part...beds and pillows were very comfortable and the room was really large. The coffee in the room is good and there is a small refrigerator. Shout out to the bellman Eric for his outstanding service and demeanor. For the bad part, the hotel is NOT sound proof at all. Street noise was bad into the night (cars with… Read more

Shout out to the bellman Eric for his outstanding service and demeanor. For the bad part, the hotel is NOT sound proof at all. Street noise was bad into the night (cars with loud radios) and my friend had a room toward the interior and the pool noise was pretty bad. We had 2 nights on separate reservations and the next morning they did not have them attached and couldn't find it although we discussed it checking in. They did finally get it straight. At the bar the first night the bartendar was really friendly, the bartendar the next night was not. Overall not an OK place to stay, just need to train the front desk better and it's beyond me why a hotel in the French Quarter was not built with better insulation. I've stayed at others and not noise like you do here. Bring ear plugs. Read less
