bartender ignored my wife

The daytime bartender is an eastern European gentleman and he completely ignored my wife. He was quick to get my drink, but still ignored my wife. I had to point out that she had been waiting before I got there. He didnt say anything about it and asked what she wanted, but by that time she was just ready to go up to the room. It was wildly…

I had to point out that she had been waiting before I got there. He didnt say anything about it and asked what she wanted, but by that time she was just ready to go up to the room. It was wildly disrespectful. Also the carpet in our room was weirdly sticky. Also, our room wasnt ready when we came to check in. Overall a pretty big let down. Location is cool though if you get past the poor service.

This hotel lobby was comfortable and inviting to sit in and share time with friends. The front desk and bar staff were helpful and knowledgeable about the area. The hotel is located only one block off Bourbon street, so it was within walking distance of bars, restaurants and shopping. Several of the employees really shined and almost all seemed to really care whether or not we enjoyed our stay during the 4 nights we spent here. The beds were comfortable and the water pressure in the shower was good. Our room was spacious and overlooked the outdoor pool. We ate breakfast in the hotel twice, and both times were satisfied with the meal. It was a bit pricey, but no more so than the sit down options within walking distance. Overall, I would recommend it as a great place to stay.

Comfortable and pleasant stay

Friendly, well maintained, clean and comfortable. Our stay was pleasant, and our needs were met. The rooms have a nice layout, well-furnished and clean. Beds are comfortable and bathrooms kept clean. The hotel is lovely, and the staff are on the ball and friendly.
Our family weekend outing.

The ENTIRE staff there were genuinely friendly and helpful. The hotel was very clean and everything worked properly in our room. I can't speak more highly of this hotel. I would give it 5 stars (out of 5). I would recommend this hotel. If you have the Hyatt credit card the benefits are even better!
Great find!

The hotel is in a great location just off Canal and just off Bourbon. For the latter, there is direct access through Hard Rock Cafe or Red Fish Grill.
The suite with a back door to the pool area was wonderful. The pool area itself was above what we expected.

The lobby was more than great, with a very nice, very clean bar, lots of windows and light, great seating and booths and a nice breakfast area. The frond desk staff were mostly exceptionally helpful — shout-outs to Maya and her gang.
The trolley stop is a block away, just out the door. The French Quarter’s deepest recesses, the other direction, a few blocks to the heart of it.
Nothing to do with the hotel, but a trolley ride to the WWII museum is a day or days worth of fascination — do it!
