The hotel

An inspiring oceanfront beach retreat, the Royal Palm offers modern, vibrant living whilst keeping intact many signature elements of the original Art Deco design. Rooms are gorgeous, with stunning city or ocean views, rich linen robes to relax in and organic bath products. When you’re not out and about sightseeing or strutting your stuff down at the beach, relax by one of the two pools, a cocktail in one hand, a good book in the other. There are restaurants all around you but for good eats you don't need to leave the hotel. From casual poolside dining at the Grove to the exciting flavours of the Middle East at Byblos - there's something to suit all tastes. Palm Island Bar is great for a sundowner, particularly at the weekend with the live DJ music to groove to.

In the heart of South Beach, close to shops, bars, restaurants and nightclubs. Famed Ocean Drive and Lincoln Road are just footsteps away. Driving time from Miami International Airport: approx 20 minutes.

393 rooms and suites. All with air-conditioning, 42" flat-screen TV, telephone, complimentary WiFi, mini-bar*, tea/coffee-making facilities, safe, hairdryer, alarm/clock radio, bathrobes, BIOLOGY Smart Skincare bath amenities, slippers, iron and ironing board. 

Classic Rooms have either courtyard or cityscape views, with either 1 king-size bed or 2 double beds, sleeping maximum 4 adults.

Deluxe View Rooms are larger in size and offer either city or partial ocean views, with either 1 king-size bed or 2 double beds, sleeping maximum 4 people.

Oceanfront Rooms feature a step our balcony offering ocean views, and a living area, with 1 king-size be, sleeping maximum 2 people.

Studio Suites offer a residential design with city or ocean views, a separate living area, in-room pantry, and 1 king-size bed, sleeping maximum 2 people. Some Studio Suites offer a balcony, but it is not guaranteed.


Self-parking $44 plus tax, and Valet parking $55 plus tax per day (payable locally, subject to change).

The Compass Rose Bar (bar serving coffees and pastries in the morning, turning into a hotspot by night with cocktails and regular live DJ's). Our stay was just what we needed. Great location, hotel with clean and tide pool area with a lot of towels and chairs. Easy access to the beach,in just a few steps. Our stay was just what we needed. Great location, hotel with clean and tide pool area with a lot of towels and chairs. Easy access to the beach,in just a few steps. Beach is well organized with as much as you need umbrellas and chairs, guards and few spots with refreshments offer. They also made cute corner for little ones, on sand with beach toys. The cocktail on pool were super. We did not tried the food but saw there are people who ordered. We had 2 double bedroom,clean and tide with partial see view. Quite with enough light. Staff is what is something we need to appreciate-from entrance and guys who welcome us to reception desk and charming Christopher who made our day with extra voucher for breakfast. Restaurant where they served breakfast was light and sunny while Mirjana did all we feel comfortable and pleasant. She was able to talk to different guests while focus on accurate and organized schedule. We had a great experience with her and next morning we were wondering if she will be there. She was and she brought smile on our faces. Very professional and nice. Also Danilo was our server who was fullfiling our small wishes with patience and smile. Breakfast was good in buffet style. This people made our accommodation even more pleasant. There is a small shop in hotel with basic things including coffee. Lobby area is wide and good air conditioned with few elevators for each wing. We learned hotel is closing due to renovation plan and we regretted since we are coming back to the area in Xmas time. I went solo and had the time of my life. The nightlife is so much fun and within walking distance of all cool spots. The Florida cookery is top notch and the bartenders are dreams come true. The views are divine in the ocean front view or the ocean view. Pedro is the BEST! See him at the Florida Cookery!

first time coming to the royal palm and it was exceptional all thanks to the beach crew. Jeffrey and brian were super accommodating and friendly. they made sure thru out the day i had everything i needed. food was great. definitely will be coming back hopefully in the near future

We stayed at this hotel for one night on the tail end of our Florida vacation. The location is great and I was able to use my Bonvoy points for the stay.
