Just like Disney’s classic fairy tales, this Disney Deluxe Villa Resort is inspired by the enchanting villages and romantic castles of Europe, with grand fountains, elegant socialising spaces, waterfront gardens, and rooftop dining that has the feel of a cliffside restaurant in Italy or the French Riviera. The self-catering studios and villas at Disney’s Riviera Resort let you mix days of park-hopping (with the Disney Skyliner Transportation giving you a bird’s eye view as it whisks you to Epcot and Disney’s Hollywood Studios) with days at the hotel’s relaxed Beau Soleil Pool or its fun family Riviera Pool, which features an interactive splash zone with a unique Fantasia spin.

Beautiful hotel let down by it staff, starts with the very unfriendly and gate security and continues to bad management

Beautiful hotel let down by unfriendly service, from the gate security all the way to hotel management, it was clear guests are just an imposition on their day. I’ve never felt less welcome at a Disney resort. It is unfortunate because the valet and the restaurant staff at Topolinos are excellent.
Don’t book here

I had such high hopes for this resort. I had researched for months and decided on this resort instead of the Four Seasons, so as to be on site. BIG MISTAKE. This resort boasts luxury prices without the luxury feel. The quality of the beds, lack of soundproofing between rooms, and overall unfriendly “cast members” is a complete upset for my family. At any other luxury hotel, if there were an issue, the staff typically does all they can to improve the situation. Not here, they do not care and actually try to make it more difficult.
This is our first time visiting Disney and, unfortunately, our poor choice in resort is ruining this very expensive experience. Again, stay elsewhere if you want a positive resort experience.

Bring your own COFFEE
Apr 18, 2025174paulaeFlorida
That Joffries (what they say is)Coffee is absolutely HORRIBLE!!
There is NO EXCUSE to pass that off as Coffee!
My family of four stayed in their Premier suite with FULL KITCHEN, Master En-suite, TWO Murphy beds on the TOP FLOOR overlooking the Pool. FIRST TIME for all of us and, the coffee was the WORST part of our three day trip.
Location that is hard to beat

As a Disney Vacation club member I have tried a number of the resorts. The room was great - with a very nice bathroom layout. My friend slept on the murphy bed and said it was really comfortable. The balcony was very nice. I did not know what to expect in a high-rise hotel, but it was super quiet. Perhaps it was the time of the year but…

The balcony was very nice. I did not know what to expect in a high-rise hotel, but it was super quiet. Perhaps it was the time of the year but the pool was quiet as well. Love that there is a pool for kids and one for adults. We also loved the location and took the skyliners to Hollywood Studios and Epcot - so fun and so convenient. I wish the skyliners went to Disney Springs. We did not eat in the restaurant but did get coffee and croissant from the cafe.

Brilliant stay in the Tower Suite

Just returned from a 2 week stay over Christmas in Riviera’s Tower Suite using DVC points. I was a little apprehensive given some negative reviews about the size of the suite but we found there was plenty of room and storage space. It may not feel that way to people used to very large hotel rooms outside of the uk! The room was well equipped with…

I was a little apprehensive given some negative reviews about the size of the suite but we found there was plenty of room and storage space. It may not feel that way to people used to very large hotel rooms outside of the uk! The room was well equipped with cutlery, crockery, a toaster and microwave.
The skyliner was the main draw for us and it proved to be a great way to get about.
Other pros: the staff were very welcoming and could not do enough for us. Any requests for more towels, coffee etc were quickly delivered on. All the staff, from front desk, to maintenance and housekeeping were really lovely, even more so that at the other Disney hotels I’ve stayed at previously.
The only draw back was I found the vegan food options to be a little limited but with Caribbean beach resort only next door that was not really an issue.
