If you’re wanting to get the best up-close experience of Niagara Falls, then that’s exactly what the Marriott on the Falls will give you. When we say close-up, this is the nearest place to stay to those three famed Falls — Horseshoe, American and Bridal Veil. If you want to get even closer, you’re in the perfect spot to head out on a boat on the waters. But you don’t have to if you don’t want to, as the hotel has an observation deck, a restaurant where you can eat and admire the views, and rooms where you can open the curtains each morning to the sight of the spectacular rushing waters.

Lacking in customer service- esp the front office and milestone restaurant. For folks traveling in a large group that will be a challenge. Hotel staff give different answers regarding check out time- make sure to double check that.

Nice view, rooms seemed clean & loved the This Works Products. We understand how challenging it must be to keep windows clean on a large building, however when you are paying decent money because you want a view of something, it would be nice to be able to look through clean windows.

The rooms are comfortable, not spectacular, but it’s the view you’re paying for and you certainly get your monies worth. The staff were all very friendly and helpful throughout. We had a table booked in the hotel restaurant but cancelled and just got from service so we could enjoy the view more. Strongly advise this! The location is excellent for Niagara attractions, restaurants and bars. In the area we particularly enjoyed AG Cuisine for outstanding food (no views though as it’s a basement). The skylon revolving restaurant for the views and overall experience. Read less

Firstly, Emily at the front desk made our stay ALOT better. She truly understands what “hospitality” means. She was able to assist us with complete kindness and she made me and my family feel welcomed. I hope she’s here the next time we stay at this Marriot. I’m also an employee for a Marriot in Toronto and she’s one of the few employees who… Read more

I’m also an employee for a Marriot in Toronto and she’s one of the few employees who actually made me feel at home and not like a burden. A lot of Marriot employees treat other fellow Marriot employees like strangers that don’t belong because of the fact that have a “discounted rate” but in all actuality, we EARNED these rates. All Marriot employees individually contribute to the upkeep of each location in different ways and they should be acknowledged not discredited. This is why I’m so happy with Emily hospitality, she has a kind heart and more guest should experience her level respect and professionalism. Read less

I stayed 2 nights a the Niagara Falls Marriott on the Falls in Niagara Falls, Canada with family in July 2025. I was very disappointed. I have stayed at multiple Marriott Hotels and this one gets the lowest mark. The hallways were very dirty with debris and the carpet fraying. We watched the fireworks from the observation deck which was dirty and the glass doors grimy. But the most frustrating aspect of this property is the statement that this hotel is the 'closest to the falls.' This fact may indeed be correct and convenient if you are a bird. You can see the Fallsview Trail which is very close, but you can not get to it rapidly without paying for the Falls Incline Railway ( $3.75 for a 1 way ride). If you do not pay for the Incline you must walk about a mile to get on the Fallsview Trail. There are lots of tall trees so that you can not fully see the falls from the hotel unless you are on a higher level in the hotel. I suggest you pass on this hotel. Read less
