This was our 34th visit to the island and the Hilton never lets us down! We were met at the airport by the Hilton representatives and driven to the hotel. Check-in as always was smooth and delightfully friendly! The girls at Reception are simply second to none! Valencia, Wilma and Alana to name but three of the girls, are great fun and have a delightful sense of humour! Janique Mason is the Operations Director and seems to be everywhere! A very attentive lady who’s spot on the ball! One of the recent reporters said that the beach is small. That is simply just not true! All beaches in Barbados are public and the Hilton beach is large. If you take a look at their page you’ll see that, looking out to sea, there is a large beach straight ahead and a beautiful bay to the right! There are roughly 60 sun beds with shade in the bay and probably twice that many, all with shade in the main beach area. There are also numerous beds and shade around the two pools. There are four locations in the hotel where you can have dinner and snacks and the pool bar is also perfect for lunch, plus the coffee shop in the lobby! Most of the bedrooms are spacious and offer excellent value for money. However, please remember. Barbados is not a “cheap” location for a holiday but nevertheless, offers, in our humble opinion, very good value for money! Give it a try! Read less

The location is wonderful fantastic ocean view lovely white sand It’s about 25 minutes from the airport and costs about 75 Barbados dollars Might be better to prebook if possible Saves time queuing or consider hiring yourself a car . The Hotel itself is a bit dated and needs an upgrade the rooms are adequate with a balcony overlooking the ocean or pool . There is some entertainment and the bar is lively at night food is expensive though so keep this in mind on top of the prices there is a service charge 10% and vat at 17.5 % If you hire a car you can probably find less expensive places to eat There are a few places to eat within walking distance but not that many There are two pools and plenty of sunbeds poolside and on the beach . Staff are helpful and smiling . The Gym has most things except for exercise bikes and the staff are friendly . Overall I would say it’s a good place to stay if a bit on the expensive side 👍 Read less
