What a charming gem, discovering both the island of Grenada and Silversands resort! The pools on site are out of this world and beach access is incredibly close. The view is spectacular! Went for our 5 year anniversary. From the minute we arrived at the airport to the minute we left the service was impeccable. Room service came 2-3 per day to replace towels, toiletries, and make bed. Pool staff immediately brought out coolers of water and towels when we sat down without hesitation. Restaurant staff greeted us right away and were lovely — kind, attentive, and extremely friendly. Chefs made amazing food at both Grand Anse and Beach house. Our last night we did a private beach dinner, and they set up a beautiful dinner table with 5 year anniversary spelled out in rocks surrounded my tiki torches. Dennis hosted us to a cocktail hour on our second night and was super friendly. Highly recommend this resort to anyone visiting. So much love from the amazing staff here the entire time. Wish we could stay for 4 weeks instead of 4 days.

A very special hotel!

Silversands Grand Anse is a very special hotel. It's large enough to have great restaurants, bar, fitness center, and spa onsite...but not so large that you feel crowded as a guest. The staff is superb, very welcoming and helpful, from the moment you arrive until you leave. The breakfast buffet is massive. The rooms are sleek, light, and…

Misled, Disturbed, and Deeply Disappointed – AVOID UNTIL CONSTRUCTION ENDS!

We transferred to this hotel from Six Senses – ironically because Six Senses had the decency to inform us five weeks in advance about nearby building works. They were transparent, so we chose to cancel. We wrongly assumed that this hotel, by contrast, would be a quiet escape. We spent thousands of pounds extra to transfer to this hotel, unaware that we would be walking into a construction zone.
We are in Block 1, rooms 125 and 124, where building work is taking place directly behind our room. The noise is unbearable – if you lie on the bed, your head physically vibrates against the headboard. There is no escaping it. Forget sitting on your balcony or relaxing with a book – the entire experience is ruined by the din of heavy machinery digging and drilling along with the constant beep of vehicles reversing. You can’t sit on the balcony. You can’t read. You can’t nap. You can’t relax.
Not once were we warned about this. There was no mention during booking, no notice at check-in, no letter in the room, and certainly no apology. The hotel is being extended—this is not minor maintenance. It’s heavy-duty groundwork that will likely go on for at least a year. The fact that this was hidden from guests is simply unacceptable.
To make matters worse, the management appears completely absent. When we tried to speak with someone about the intolerable noise and shaking room (our children genuinely thought it was an earthquake), the manager was nowhere to be found. Instead, someone thought a plate of cookies and a bottle of champagne would suffice as compensation. Frankly, it was insulting.
The building work doesn’t even stop at 3pm like UK construction. We left the room at 6pm and it was still ongoing.
To be fair, once the dust settles (literally), the rooms themselves are modern and nicely designed. Grenada is a beautiful island with an interesting history. The beach restaurant is excellent. The pool is impressive. Internet is frustratingly patchy. The service is well-meaning but inconsistent, and breakfast varies wildly depending on who’s in the kitchen.
But none of this matters if you can’t sleep, relax, or enjoy a moment’s peace.
This hotel should not be open during this level of construction. Until it is complete – and until management learns the basics of transparency and guest care – do not stay here.
