Image of the Tripadvisor rating Consistent Service would make this 5 Star

My wife and I finally used our Elise Island Certificate purchased at a charity auction years earlier and needless to say we were far from disappointed, just not blown away. If timely, consistent service isn't your top priority, then, for the price, Hammock Cove should be on your short list. Unfortunately (or not), I think we've become accustomed to top-notch service of the luxury resorts we've visited in Southeast Asia and Mexico, and this resort doesn't hold that same service standard. With that said, the pro's certainly outnumber the lone con (which is a big one for us) and if there was a 4.5 star option, this resort would likely get it. The rooms, food (try everything, Lighthouse, Steak House, everything is AMAZING), beverages, spa services, and gym are all very good to excellent. The beach area could be nicer for the Caribbean as well as the actual spa and obviously the service, just being consistent and timely, would make this a true 5-star. A special shout-out to our Ambassadors Jahson and Vandross and or server at the steak house, Collette, for making our stay extra special! Read less

The Villa, The Food (Oh my God The Food!)...The Service (Linda spoiled us each day at Breakfast/Lunch and Feb (Spelling) at Dinner at The Lighthouse). They became like Family to us. A Special shotout goes to Katrina Lindsey (home office reservations) who always takes care of us and makes sure our trips run smoothly. Cheri Selfridge and her whole staff are 2nd to none when it comes to customer service! Do yourself a favor and don't mess around with other resorts...head straight to one of their fantastic resorts...expecially Hammock Cove! Read less

We were in Room 38, which offered the ultimate privacy—exactly what we were hoping for. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel like royalty. Major shoutout to Shawna & Jahiro, our go-to bartender all week who kept the vibes and cocktails flowing. Javier, our ambassador, went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. Julio kept us hydrated and happy on the beach, and our housekeeper was incredibly attentive and sweet. One of the absolute highlights was getting to meet Chef Marco and interacting with him and his amazing team throughout the week. We especially appreciated Troy (manager) &lIasmine, our server all week, who made every meal special. The food was unreal—creative, fresh, and beautifully plated. We didn’t leave the resort once—that’s how perfect everything was. If you’re looking for a party scene, this isn’t the place. Hammock Cove is for those looking for peace, pampering, and top-tier hospitality. Only (tiny) con: beachside service could be a little quicker, but it didn’t take away from the experience one bit. Zero complaints otherwise. We’re already dreaming about coming back! 🌴✨ Read less
