We had the most amazing butler last week at Beaches, Negril. Novia knew what we wanted before we even asked. She or her partner brought coffee, pastries, and fruit to our villa each morning. We just returned from a family trip with our daughter, son-in-law and 2 grandchildren, ages 9 and 5. It was a fabulous trip. My husband and I stayed in one of the Montpelier buildings on the ground floor in a Luxury King Room that had both a tropical and ocean view. The room was very spacious with plenty of storage, a stocked fridge and coffee bar. There was also a large, cushioned chair that folded out to a twin size bed. There was a patio area with a drying rack, and nice white wicker table with 2 chairs. The sink/mirror/closet area separated the bedroom from the bathroom, which had a door to close off the toilet and shower/tub. We were just steps away from The Mill restaurant, which has the buffet dining for breakfast, lunch and dinner. I was a little concerned that the noise might be bothersome since our room was so close, but if we closed the bathroom door, you could not hear any noise at all. The resort is a perfect size and did not feel crowded at any time with other guests. There was always plenty of chairs available on the beach, though the ones closest to the sea were always reserved. We all enjoyed the water park, especially the lazy river. We also enjoyed kayaking, water trike, hobie cat, and glass bottom boat. We tried each of the restaurants, and they were all phenomenal. Right after we arrived, we visited the concierge to make reservations at Stella, Yaku, and Kimonos, which are the only 3 that require reservations. Keep in mind when making reservations that the nightly entertainment is at 8:30 PM. We particularly enjoyed Stella, Soy, and Yaku. YoYo's and Cafe de Paris were visited daily, sometimes multiple times daily! El Mariachi's taco bar was also great. The nightly entertainment exceeded my expectations. My favorite night included Jamaican bamboo pole dancing (not what you think) and Limbo Joe. All of the entertainers throughout the week seemed to have just as much fun as we did, and the shows were all very family friendly. There is a kids club area that is super nice. We never dropped the grandchildren off there, but our granddaughter did participate in a couple of activities that they offered. The service and staff we encountered were terrific. My only recommendations would be that a tv channel guide be provided in the rooms and that information about the daily kids entertainment and nightly entertainment be more readily available. We would love to return! Read less

This was our first time at Beaches Negril. We usually go to Beaches Turks and Caicos but decided to try something different. We had a wonderful experience, our butlers, Anthony and Olivier, were fantastic. There’s nothing they could’ve done to make our week any better. From the accommodations to the food, everything was great. Anthony and Olivier took a lot of time to answer our questions about local culture and places to visit. They even scheduled a traditional Jamaican meal for our group including oxtail, curried goat, and all the fixings. We had such a great time that we canceled our Turks and Caicos trip for 2026 and rebooked for Beaches Negril. We really enjoyed the smaller setting. The beach and pools weren’t crowded, the beach snorkeling was actually very good. We saw a lot of big starfish, rays, and fish. Yaku, the Peruvian restaurant at the Beaches Negril was out of this world good. Read less

This was our second time at Beaches Negril. We were here two years ago. It was my wife, mother-in-law, two sons (7 and 9 yrs), and two good friends who met us there. Overall, we had a great time! Let me list some Pros and areas that we felt needed some improvement. Pros: 1. Club Mobay, always worth it. They make things so easy for you. 2. The Beach, such any amazing beach. We stood out in the ocean, with a drink everyday! 3. Stella Restaurant, great for breakfast and dinner. 4. The Buffet, great for breakfast. 5. The BBQ Grill (Jamaican Patties). 6. Kimonos great entertainment, food, and drinks! 7. Soy was good. 8. Food Trucks, nice addition. 9. Our friends had a great room, with a view! 10. Water park, slides, lazy river, and the adult pool were great! 11. Room was clean and they responded fast to plumbing issues. 12. Re-booking process was easy and she apologized for what they told us about getting an ocean view for our current room, last time we booked. 13. We were able to get good beach lounge chairs almost everyday! 14. The shows were great! Needs improvement: 1. Check in process overall. They just plugged us into a room that matched our category. They had us on a bottom floor. I was able to switch us to a 2nd floor, and thought she was giving us a view. I know they have rooms in our category that do have an ocean room. Unfortunately, we only had a garden view for us, with a partial ocean view, once we stepped onto the balcony. I did not want to be switching rooms back and forth. However, it was not what we thought we were paying for, based on what we were told two years ago. I just really expected more. Not to mention, I could hear the dishes and noise from, "The Mill Buffet," almost every morning. I guess at least I got an early start to the day. 2. We had a small ant problem, which took 2 days to get someone to finally come up an spray. However, it was eventually taken care of. 3. The kids pool bar was being renovated, which is no one's fault We were just really looking forward to it. They told us it should be finished right now, now that we are back. 4. They were not going to do anything for our anniversary, until I reminded them the last night. It is not about me, but I wanted them to do something special for my wife. 5. The cabana is not really worth it. We had it booked for 3 days, and canceled the other two days. The server takes way to long. We were able to walk to the bar and get two drinks int he time it takes to get one drink. 6. There are never any lounge chairs at the pool available. 7. Club Liquid, that turns into an adults club at night, was quite hilarious. They really need to renovate it or maybe just keep it a teenage club. We had a drink laughed, and went back to lobby bar. 8. The times for Rick's Cafe through Island tours, are way too late. I wish we would have taken a taxi, so we could have enjoyed the rest of the day at our resort. We had to leave the pool and beach early to make it there. Yes, I did jump at Rick's! If you jump, take off your watch! Overall, everyone did have a good time, thanks to a great staff! Read less
