    713 rooms and suites.     Superior Deluxe Ocean View Rooms with stunning views across the Caribbean sea and 1 king-size bed, or 2 double beds, sleeping maximum 4 adults or 2 adults and 2 children.

    Superior Deluxe Oceanfront Rooms are as above but closer to the ocean, with 1 king-size bed or 2 double beds, sleeping maximum 4.

    Superior Honeymoon Suites benefit from upgraded liquor selections, access to the Private Beach Lounge area, an exclusive beach bag (one per stay), pillow and aromatherapy menus, an Espresso/American coffee maker, nightly Petit Fours, private concierge service by phone, one reservation at speciality restaurant per stay, and turn-down service and private check-in. These rooms have 1 king-size bed and sleep maximum 2 adults.

    Superior Governor Suites feature a living room and dining room, balcony with chaise lounge, chairs and table, and access to a shared terrace with 3 hot tubs. These rooms have 1 king-size bed and sleep maximum 2 adults.

    Superior Family Suites with garden views, are two connecting rooms, one with 1 king-size bed and the other with 2 double beds, sleeping maximum 6. Plus little extras for the kids, including kid-friendly mini-bar, in-room snacks and Fun in the Sun Bucket Kit.

    Guests staying in the Mexican state Quintana Roo are required to pay a travel tax of $11 per adult (over 15 years old). The payment can be made prior to travel, upon arrival or during your stay, as the tax will be imposed upon departure. There is also an additional Environmental Sanitation Tax of $4.25 USD per room, per night that will be added to your hotel bill (payable locally, subject to change).

    The waitress at El Manglar restaurant (Dora) at the Moon Palace Nizuc was great! Very helpful and courteous! Also, she made the best banana foster desert I ever had. Thank you Dora!
