    The first island you’ll hit as you drive through the keys is Key Largo, most famous for it’s watersports with reef snorkelling, diving, and glass bottom boat tours out of John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park as must-do activities. Neighbouring the state park you’ll find Playa Largo set on 14.5 acres of secluded shoreline, providing your own piece of paradise to stay whilst exploring this part of Florida’s famous archipalageo. The private beach is the only thing between you and the sparkling waters of Florida Bay, where you can enjoy a range of watersports right from the hotel as well as venturing out to nearby attractions (of which there are plenty). There is a laid-back feel to the resort, perfectly in keeping with the area, but that doesn’t stop the facilities and service being up to standard. From a beach shack restaurant to a ceviche bar, all tastebuds are catered for, La Marea is a particularly great choice for locally sourced seafood and freshly handmade artisan breads and pizzas.     Beautiful property with a fantastic private beachfront. Rooms were spacious and very plush, property is gorgeous... with an amazing "walk into the gulf" stairway and great pool area with bar.

    This is a beautiful hotel. If I'm going to return to this area, this is the place to comeback. Ocean right in the back yard of the Hotel. Its super calm, clean, pacefull. Courtesy among staff is very high. Just the best resort to go on the Keys.

    Excellent hotel the staff was extremely nice and helpful. We met Jean the bartender that work on the bar next to the beach and he made the best passion fruit margarita we ever had. He recommended also some great food. We had such a nice weekend. Hope to return soon. 100% recommended

The premium restaurant Sol by the sea is very good, we thoroughly enjoyed our dinner there. One negative was the front desk staff- the woman who checked us in was unfriendly and unhelpful. Her demeanor put a damper on our early experience of the property. She could use a lesson on customer service or time off. Read less

    Absolutely exceptional from the minute we arrived. The valet team were welcoming, and all have great characters. The reception team were so attentive and couldn’t do enough for you to make sure your stay for smooth and hassle free. The reception team were so attentive and couldn’t do enough for you to make sure your stay for smooth and hassle free. We requested a change of room only because 2 teenage boys needed separate beds and Malannie changed it instantly. Both of the restaurant teams were lovely, and the service was exceptional, sadly I didn’t get their names. The rooms are incredible, you won’t be disappointed. The pool team work their socks off, making sure you are always hydrated and clear up after you. I didn’t get the ladies name behind pool bar, but she was great! Lovely touch like marshmallows by the fire-pit at night and fishing rods, compliments of the hotel to fish on the jetty. Overall, I haven’t got anything negative to say. I would recommend this hotel 10 times over. Read less
