If you’ve ever wanted to visit a conference centre on holiday then you would properly be okay staying here. Other than that don’t waste your money. The staff are generally disinterested (it took three days to get us a working safe that just needed a battery). There are of course some exceptions who do understand what customer service means (most notably Alfonso Pombo who was amazing) but they are in short supply. It’s a big soulless place that is clearly only really bothered about guests coming for conferences. There are never enough people on the front desk and the concierge seems to be permanently MIA. Not enough sun loungers, you feel like you’re on top of each other at the pools. We nearly had our towels removed to make way for a couple who were playing hunt the sun lounger, despite us only having gone in the pool five minutes before. Sadly it seems to be living on past glories and really needs to rethink how it treats its guests. The rooms are okay but nothing special and nothing is complimentary. In fact the only five star thing about the hotel are the prices for everything. Basically, save your money unless you are visiting for a conference and even then I would look elsewhere. Read less

I will never stay there again. I could not wait to leave as I spoke to people there I asked them what do you think of Hotel told I was told terrible I said me too absolutely terrible definitely a three star hotel 100%. There’s nothing about the hotel that is a higher class apart from the lobby when you’re walking check-in is horrendous. The phones in the hotel do not work to go downstairs. Nobody gets back to you if you’re able to leave a message While travel person was horrendous with a capital H I brought my issues to the attention of the manager. She was so cold in the hotel. It made me realise where the staff were the same wrong choice manager who employed this lady. Read less

Yes it is a bit expensive and huge, but we had a great time. Ideal for families, business and leisure guests. Great boardwalk that goes right down to South Beach. On the beach and with great views from the rooms. We upgraded to a Junior Suite in the Sorrento building, our grown up sons had Oceanview Rooms in the main buildings which was also adequate. Our first night we ate in Arkadia which was perfect after a long flight from the UK. We did have a drink in the Bleau Bar beforehand, however had to move to the lobby as we had our 16 year old son with us and he couldn't stay there, even if he wasn't sitting at the bar and obviously only ordering a soda. We spent the days round the pool relaxing. On our 2nd days we upgraded to the bigger day beds, which included bottles of water and fresh fruit. Probably not worth the money but we were on holiday and thought it would be a nice treat for all our boys. We had further meals off the resort down in South Beach, however did have breakfast a couple of mornings which was g The hotel was busy, there was a big conference taking place and so later in the evening the Bleau Bar was very busy. We stayed at the Fontainebleau in Las Vegas last year and had a great experience, so thought we would stay in the Fontainebleau in Miami while we were here. Sadly the experiences were not the same. The hotel was nice, good rooms and amenities as well as a good location. What let the hotel down was the staff. They were not polite, helpful and really lacked any customer service. This is all staff from front desk, concierge, cleaners, pool attendants. They did not make it a pleasant stay. My advise would be to find an alternative hotel, particularly for the price. Read less
