The food was brilliant and catered for all cuisines. Staff doing quality checks before every meal time and so attentive keeping water and drinks topped up throughout the meals.
The wildlife and sea life there is unmatched and unreal, seeing turtles,sharks and stingrays was unbelievable in the crystal clear water.
The staff were all very friendly and polite, some that stood out to us were the most pool bar staff Minda and Jessica, knowing our drinks order and keeping us topped up.
Jabair who kept the toilets clean and smelling lovely but most of all he was so polite, always had a smile on his face and always asking if we’re okay, beautiful soul.
The entertainment team, in particular Sanjay from Naples and Amiee. Always upbeat and keeping the party going (hope they have introduced Court of Kings Caratacus to their action songs)
Also Nate from TUI advising us best times and places to see the sea life and helping us with anything we needed.
We will definitely be back and if anyone is thinking about visiting this resort, do it! You won’t regret it

As I type this we are just entering our 2nd week, but it feels like we've been here an eternity. The words, serenity and tranquility are very apt. We choose to base ourselves on the beach outside block 1500 which is a 5 min walk to the pool/restaurants.
It's so peaceful and quiet throughout the day at this part of the island, on occasion when we go for drinks it's a very different vibe at the pool area, each to their own. The sea is crystal clear, it's warm, almost hot by 4pm. The house reef is spectacular, I swam next to a Southern stingray which dwarfed me.
The staff are always engaging and so very polite and courteous. The restaurants are very good with the buffet restaurant serving something for everyone, the local cuisine is fabulous, if you're curry fan then you won't be disappointed. A small moan, my wife is vegetarian, that's not so strange nowadays, the steak restaurant offers no option for her, and yet the Italian rest does. They operate the same kitchen and this is something that can and should be accommodated.
The sports bar is excellent and serves very good coffee and is our go to place for cocktails. The gym/spa is very nice, immaculately clean and smells wonderful.
It's extremely humid at night if it's your first time then don't worry you'll become acclimatised to it after a couple of days.
The journey here is long and although Male airport is chaotic, seek out the tui/riu stand and you'll be looked after.
If you're staying in the beach rooms then I'd consider requesting 1000-1500 as the higher numbers are quite a walk to al the amenities.
