bookers beware!! , the pictures and reviews you see and read online are the complete opposite of what you actually get. I booked a summer vacation based off the reviews and pics I saw online. we arrived on July 12, 2025 and checked in at 11am and checked out by 1pm. The outside view was great and the center of the hotel was very nice. the nightmare began when we got to our room. Videos and pics to follow in the next day or so. #1 the room smelled like pee #2 the bathroom tub had mold on it #3 the pillows looked like someone vomited on them and house keeping was non excitant! #4The fridge door was broken including the tv stand it sat in. #5When I called the front desk to express my disbelieve of what a family of 5 was dealing with Justin told us to just call my credit card for a refund and didn't even attempt to make it right. #6 I went to the front desk spoke to a manager she checked us out and also didn't even offer to make things right. #7 to make matters worse after we left they charged my credit card another $500.00 when I called and asked they said it will drop off my card in 24 hrs now its a week later and nothing had dropped off and I can't get a call back at all from anyone. Please be very careful I don't wish this experience on my worst enemy, this has been such a nightmare for us. Service side was very uncaring Rooms1.0Service1.0Location2.0 Roomsvery disgusting and nothing like the pictures they show online. it really felt like a bate and switch from what they show you online vs what you actually get! Nearby activitiesnothing but a small pool that we saw Safetymold in the rooms and dirty beds and pillows tells me they don't care about safety Walkabilityparking is horrible Food & drink sthank god we didn't get a chance to try it Read less

Tharwat and Stephanie, amongst others, looked after well at the restaurant. The hotel is within walking distance to the Seaworld and about 15 mins by car to Universal Studio etc. It is a huge hotel with coin laundry. The hotel feels very vibrant. We had a room facing Seaworld so we could see their fireworks show at 9pm each night. The rooms, in particular the bathroom would benefit with some repairs / refurbishment though. Read less

I recently stayed at this Marriott property, and after a tremendously difficult time getting a response from Marriott, I felt compelled to address the issues I encountered formally. I dealt with a woman who is a Corporate Liaison, Corporate Office of Consumer Affairs, and Sarah in Marriott Claims. It was impossible to get a response from Marriott, which speaks to how seriously they are taking these concerns. Key Issues: Emergency Response Failure: We asked that the front desk call 911 becasue of a guest having severe chest pains. Despite this, the front desk failed to make the 911 call and instead planned to "wait and have someone respond to the room first." This delay could have been critical in a medical emergency, such as a heart attack, where every minute counts. According to Marriott, the hotel's protocol is to notify the Safety & Security team first, who are first aid & CPR certified and trained to assess the situation until EMS arrives. This standard operating procedure, as described by Marriott, would only call 911 if necessary or requested by the responding officer. Unacceptable Room Conditions: The room presented to me was filthy, which is entirely inappropriate for any guest. Poor Service: A pool server said they couldn't serve food because they were "overrun with convention guests," which reflects poorly on the service standards. A bartender was seen touching food with her hands. We were unable to order lunch on three separate occasions due to convention guests overwhelming the staff. Positive Experience with Food and Beverage Manager: The food and beverage manager was wonderful to deal with and very accepting of my complaints. He tried to make up for the poor service by compensating us with lunch. Failure to Address Concerns: Despite all of the isseed mentioned and numerous phones calls, the property manager, Gary, never returned my call. A Marriott Bonvoy customer service representative, Dolce, informed me that Gary was sent to the property to "clean up a mess," yet it seems clear he is failing to do so effectively. Conclusion: I want to ensure future guests are aware that Marriott has not taken my feedback seriously, and guest should consider these issues when choosing this property.marriot does not have an appropiate 911 protcol at this property and it certainly does not align with best practices in urgent situations. Aside from that, this property is rundow, the only cater to the large volume of convention guests and the bartender touching people's food was disgusting. Read less

Hotel entrance gives a nice impression, huge inside central area. Pool is very nice, large, and there is also a kid area with some easy slides for kids 10 years old and younger. We had a family balcony towards the park which is highly recommended - you can watch the park drone show/fireworks every night at 9 from your room / balcony. Nice food and OK prices although on the high end. Smooth parking - self or valet parking located just a few steps from the hotel. Read less

I told them there was a problem and they said they may be able to get someone to look at the 'next week'. The bathroom was tired and grubby and the room had a horrible smell. I had to repeatedly ask for towels as there was only 2 - in the end we gave up. Breakfast was included but terrible quality and limited. There was only 2 serving staff so if you got a coffee you thought yourselves lucky. Overall, I don't have anything nice to say. Read less
