We stayed in a Fairmont Gold room and I can say Gold is easily worth it at this hotel. Definitely the best Fairmont Gold experience we've had and we've been to quite a few Fairmonts at this point. The Gold lounge itself is beautiful with stunning views and breakfast and canapes were delicious. Also, be sure to check out the activities, if you stay here you are paying for them through the resort fee, and all that we tried were great! The guided hike, bike tour, and yoga were all highlights. The golf course is also stunning. We can't wait to come back Read less

We asked for a room with a Mountain View and we were pleasantly surprised that we could upgrade to the Fairmont Gold package for a little bit more. We were given a Junior Suite with access to the Fairmont Gold private lounge. This lounge is exceptional. The hotel is stunning and apart from a short walk into the village, we did not go anywhere else as we were so comfortable in the hotel. We dined at the The Wildflower and experienced a dining experience we could not fault. Read less

Also making sure meals were prepared with my wife's dietary restrictions in mind. The entire Fairmont Gold team executed this without flaw and more. They are amazing and made our 2 day stay incredibly memorable. You guys rock. Read less

Terrific property very close walking distance to Whistler village, but away from the main hustle & bustle. All staff were very friendly and helpful when needed. I've not stayed at the Four Season next store so I can't compare the 5 -star experience, but it truly is wonderful resort. Rooms are spacious and comfortable, although I would not say there was a wow factor. I stayed in a very similar Westin Blue Mountain resort in Ontario back in February and my Fairmont room wasn't any better or nicer. Food and beverage within the hotel was very good and only short walk to many options near by. I did come solo for a conference, but would definitely consider a return for a family stay. I would probably rate this 4.5 out of 5 overall. Read less
