The hotel

Mere steps from the famed Niagara Falls, Sheraton on the Falls is a luxury, fun and great place to stay with something for everyone. You’ll be spoilt for choice with what to eat, with seven places to tickle your taste buds. Not only is there a rooftop pool, but the walkway also connects to Fallsview Indoor Waterpark with slides and splash zones galore that little ones will love. There’s even mini-golf and bumper cars in Adventure City that's within the complex too. But relaxing hasn’t been forgotten about. Enjoy a massage overlooking the rushing falls below, and retreat to the 14th floor indoor pool for some me-time. And when it comes to exploring, there’s so much on your doorstep, and you’re just a 5-minute stroll to the majestic falls.

Amazing location and very good service. No matter what some reviews say as a Marriott lifetime platinum member, they made us feel special. The lounge was closed for breakfast on the weekends, but they get breakfast buffet at 13th floor falls overview restaurant. I think the location of the hotel is not the best in Niagara Falls easy access to main attractions and better than the other properties around there. The property was sold out and the staff was incredible. Read less

This place is Busy! It is connected to a Starbucks, a gift shop, etc. so the foot traffic is heavy. Or at least it was when I was there over 4th of July weekend. The staff at the Sheraton were amazing. Friendly and patient despite their lobby looking like an airport. The rooms were clean. The beds and pillows were comfortable. It was also my daughter’s and my birthday. I told the Sheraton this and they decorated my room with a happy birthday banner and left us a complimentary slice of cheese cake in our fridge. It was delicious. Great experience and looking forward to returning. Read less

The location, grounds and food were excellent. My issue was with my reservation. I booked a room for 5 people through Expedia. The location, grounds and food were excellent. My issue was with my reservation. I booked a room for 5 people through Expedia. I was given a room with a glass window pane overlooking an interior wall (in other words-no window with natural light). I was told that I booked a room with no window. Nowhere in my reservation does it say that I booked a room with no window. Nowhere on Expedia does it say that they have rooms with no window. I didn’t know that a hotel, especially an upscale one like the Sheraton, had the option of a room with no window. In order for us to not feel claustrophobic in a cave, I had to pay an extra $30 to switch to a room with an actual window overlooking the outside, which is standard and what I booked in the first place. I question how legally it could be considered a proper hotel room without any natural light. As mentioned, my reservation was for 5 people, when I requested a cot for the 5th person I was told that I would be charged yet another $30. Where was the 5th person that was in my reservation that was already paid for in full supposed to sleep? Already, the price for the room jumps when you put 5 people in your search criteria. I wrote to the hotel and they doubled down on this is what I booked. They never answered me as to where the 5th person in my reservation was supposed to sleep. Both of these issues are misleading from both Sheraton and Expedia and the extra charges are unacceptable. Read less

I received an email that i can check in online but their online check in has a glitch of some kind so we ended up lining up for more than 20 mins or so.. oh well we paid for a fallsview king room with a sofa bed but we're assigned to a partial city view and partial fallsview. We never had a good nigt sleep because the room has thing overwhelming musty and strong moldy smell despite lowering the temperature of the air conditioninh and spraying some air perfume, all effort failed. Breakfast was so overpriced and the food is like a food from Ikea worth $3.79 so mid. Omellet station , the lined up took fmore than 30 mins..ridiculous...the list goes on Read less

I actually could have lived with the crowded, slow elevators at the Sheraton Fallsview and rude service at Massimos, the in house Italian restaurant. because the room had a great view and was squeaky clean. My low rating is because of the insincere Welcome Note and after stay email from the General Manager. He provided his contact information and invited me to contact him in case anything was not up to my expectations. When we had to wait over one hour to retrieve our car from Valet Parking at $65 a night, we were lied to by the man at concierge who had taken our key, watched male guests getting their car in 10 minutes and I mailed this upsetting incident to the General Manager and received no reply. Not a " let me check into this", nothing. Perhaps this is how female guests are treated at the Sheraton? I don't think this manager lives up to the wonderful service provided by the Marriott group. I may have to go back to Hilton and IHG, or pick a Marriott that's not a Sheraton. Read less
