“Nice, small resort that offers personalized services.”

We just got home from a fantastic five night stay. I don’t know how much more I can add to what’s already been said, but if you’re looking for a small, more personalized place to stay, The Beachfront is for you. There’s not any “activities” at this resort aside from a daily cookout around the pool so it’s very low key. But you have access to the resort next door that has a lot going on and the golf cart runs day/night if you don’t want to walk. A few of the nights we went next door for dinner and while they were all ok, the restaurant at The Beachfront was my favorite. There ARE mosquitos so know that ahead of time but they do provide bug spray. The only thing I can say is that I feel like the resort needs to distinguish room categories better. I upgraded my booking to a beachfront suite and was told when I called to confirm my reservation that beachfront rooms are directly on the beach. It wasn’t. It was set behind the pool. It was still a beautiful room with a great view, but it wasn’t really beachfront. The only thing that distinguished our room from an ocean view room is that we had a balcony. They do have beachfront suites that really are beachfront… some have a dipping pool, or jacuzzi, some do not. So I don’t know if those beachfront rooms are set aside for owners or people who check in earlier, but I think they need to have a category that distinguishes between a room we stayed in and an actual beachfront room (minus the dipping pool or jacuzzi). Maybe have a category that’s an ocean view with a balcony because It’s a little misleading and I was a little disappointed. Don’t get me wrong, we still had a great time and will most likely go back but just know that if you book a beachfront room it may not actually be beachfront.

What an amazing experience. I have traveled to many places around the world and have had so many delicious meals but nothing compared to the meal we had at Santa Sirena. Jorge was our waiter and his service was impeccable. He had a wonderful personality and was incredibly attentive. The food was literally out of this world. The flavors were fantastic.

While the resort had promising features, we felt it fell short of a full five-star experience. This was our 35th All Inclusive, most of which have been 5-star adults only. The staff and food quality really stood out, but the limited standard menu and on more than a few occasions the slow service impacted the experience. Lunch time barbecues were most enjoyable particularly being able select your freshly caught fish, langoustines and shellfish. Our ocean view room and bathroom were small. 1 basin with limited shelf space, poor water pressure, limited toiletries and the lack of variety in the mini-bar were also areas for improvement. The king size bed was more than comfortable. However, the attentive and friendly service by ALL staff and particularly Alejandro and Cassandra, added to the enjoyment. Overall, I'd rate it 3 ¾ stars and would go back.
