Sitting right on top of Pier 67, this is Seattle's original waterfront hotel and quite the local landmark. It’s always been a quirky and cool spot, since it was built in 1962 — KISS parked their platform boots here and The Beatles once famously fished out of their hotel room window. We don’t recommend that, of course, but you can imagine the playful and chilled vibe that you get at the the Edgewater. Expect quirky, cosy rooms with beautiful views of Elliott Bay, happy hours showcasing amazing house concoctions, and a restaurant serving the freshest organic and local dishes. Take in a bit of live music at the weekend and dine outdoors to make the most of those water views.

The air conditioning as out and they brought us a fan that didn't work. The view as beautiful. I didn't realized there were trains close by so you could hear the trains. We made reservations at the restaurant and when we called to confirm before we got there they said the restaurant would be closed because of a concert and then when we arrived the restaurant was opened and when we inquired they informed us the concert had been cancelled. We planned on eating breakfast at the restaurant the next morning before we went to the airport but it didn't open until 7:00 and we had to leave by 7:30.

Hotel great atmosphere
Sits right on the water. Looks like an old pier. Great staff. Clean and uncluttered. Room had a gas fireplace all thou 79 degrees outside. Plugs both side of bed. TV confusing to use. It uses a TV stream app on your phone. Very difficult to get room cooled down. I would suggest turning off gas plots in fireplaces.…

There is no real incentive to stay at this hotel other than location. The room we stayed in felt dated for the price you payed. Here are some of our experiences from our stay:
1. They conducted an interview of an applicant in the guest area of the hotel lobby. I literally sat four feet away from this person as they were being interviewed for a job. I felt bad for that person. No respect for the person or the guests from this manager.
2. The AC in the first room was not working right. They sent a tech. The tech said the temperature was correct. He did not check the temperature other than looking at the thermostat. We requested another room and received one from the front desk. The AC in the new room worked just fine.
3. How the restaurant did our gratuity seemed a bit dishonest. We booked as a large party and we had a voucher for our meal at the restaurant. My wife and I dined separately as did most couples in our group. They charged us gratuity based on a large party. We had already tipped our waitstaff. Yes I know, I should have checked, but when you dine as a couple you are not expecting to be charged this way.
Overall: It is very neat to stay in a room with a view of the water. It is also nice to be so close to the Market. However, you can find much nicer rooms for the same price in the area that also have access to the Market. This could be a special place again with some updates in amenities and some training for the management in the basics of customer service. Ultimately it is the General Managers responsibility to deliver qualified staff and policies even if the budget for amenities isn't there.

Looking off the dock in back at night was fantastic! Really close to our Norwegian dock! Got our suitcases and it was a block in a half to the check in! The fireplace in the room was a good surprise and the Teddy 🧸 too! Thanks for the fun time and great views!
Amazing customer service

Absolutely amazing customer service and fantastic accommodations! The bell service was beyond compare, and all of the staff was so helpful and friendly. This is definitely a hotel you will want to return to again and again. The location was an easy drive to the cruise port, making the location convenient for cruisers.
