Do not book this property if you value your sanity, your money, or your family's comfort. Sofitel BKC looks grand from the outside, but the actual hospitality inside is a complete nightmare. The staff is arrogant, the service is dead slow, and the management lacks basic common sense.Our stay was a continuous series of operational failures:
The Luggage Nightmare: It took 20 minutes to get our bags after check-in. At check-out, it took an unacceptable 40 minutes and 8 desperate phone calls just to get our luggage brought down.
Pool & Billing Issues: We were left waiting around just to get towels at the pool.
To top it off, the front desk botched the checkout process with massive delays over a standard GST invoice.
The absolute worst part was how they treated our 5-year-old child, who couldn't eat breakfast or dinner here:No Food for Kids: The kitchen stubbornly refused to prepare any basic, unspiced food. Everything was loaded with chili, meaning our child went hungry.
Shocking Incompetence: When we asked for a simple vanilla milkshake in the morning, they said they couldn't make it. Instead, the staff seriously suggested giving our 5-year-old toddler a high-caffeine cold brew or cold coffee!
Average food, terrible attitude, and zero flexibility for families. Save your money and stay elsewhere in Mumbai.
