The restaurants and the bar are all fantastic and provide delectable food and drinks. There is also outstanding Balinese entertainment at the bar, such as Balinese dancing. The spa, gym, and on-site shops are terrific too.
The resort’s location in Nusa Dua can’t be beat. The resort is spotless. The rooms are spacious with very comfortable beds and a balcony that provides terrific views because everything at the resort is quite picturesque. I also appreciated how the staff cleaned the room in the morning or during the day, based on our daily preference, and then they tidied up the room and replaced the towels again in the evening. The Laguna is top notch!

The breakfast was amazing and offered a variety of different options. The kitchen is international and fits all preferences. The quality is amazing and always ready to eat.
We also had the opportunity to photoshoot with Dreams Studio Bali at the Laguna Hotel, thanks to Mary who reached out to us and Mardi who was an amazing photographer and funny guy. The pictures were amazing and a beautiful memory for us to take back home.
The staff was above and beyond, always kind and supportive of our needs. We were taken care of everyday for two weeks without missing.
We also want to give a special shoutout to Jojo who always gave us a good laugh at the beach and helped us with our towels. Kris at the breakfast in Banyubiru who made sure we were taken cared of and always brought us a lot of tasty fruits, especially the mango! Also Ilham who made sure we had a great time at Kul kul, giving us great conversations.
Overall this trip was 10/10 and a perfect fit for honeymoons.

Everything about this resort is absolutely top class. It is essentially paradise. We were originally booked to stay 10 nights, but three days before we were due to fly home, I contrived to fall visiting a rice terrace in Ubud Province and break my ankle. I was admitted to hospital and my ankle was reset and after 4 nights in hospital, I then returned to the hotel before my insurers managed to arrange my repatriation home.
Despite the nom de guerre, the hotel will know who I really am!
In that time, the hotel looked after my wife in a manner which I will never forget. They transported her to and from the hospital to visit me, constantly asked after her and me and effectively treated us like family.
When I returned to the hotel, the staff looked after me brilliantly, including supplying me with a wheelchair.
Nothing was too much trouble. Everyone in the resort is so friendly. From the cleaner sweeping the floor to the management, everyone stops to say hello, everyone has a smile on their face. It seems to be the Asian way of service that is sorely lacking in the UK.
And the facilities in the resort are superb. Various pools all with a lovely temperature, a great gym (for which my use was cut short), a great room overlooking the lagoon, free water and wi-fi and a number of superb restaurants.
I always generally book Bonvoy group hotels because the service is superb. In essence, you get what you pay for. With this Luxury Resort, you get far more.
So, if you are thinking of booking The Laguna and are wavering, do not hesitate. You will not regret it. It’s only 2 hours from Darwin, 3 hours from Singapore and 4 hours from Perth.
Grateful thanks to everyone who looked after my wife and I during this holiday. There are too many to name but include all the restaurant staff, the pool staff, the gym staff, reception staff and the guys on the front steps who assist with luggage and cars. If I have forgotten anyone, I apologise. As I have alluded to above, I will never forget your kindness and support!
