Casa Marina Key West, Curio Collection by Hilton

Key West, Florida Keys

Star rating

The hotel

Opened on New Year's Eve 1920, Casa Marina Resort is Key West’s original grand resort. Boasting a dramatic 'water walk' that leads to the resort's two largest swimming pools and the largest private beach in Key West, Casa Marina is a tranquil oasis close enough to the action of Duval Street. Offered on-site is a booking centre for world-class diving, fishing and boating, and it also has one of the largest fitness facilities in Key West, allowing you to work off those holiday indulgences! Guest rooms here are contemporary in style with whitewashed walls, textured tile floors and dark tropical hardwoods — a great place to retire to at the end of a busy day seeing the sights. For dining the hotel’s Sun Sun restaurant and bar, an open-air wood pavilion overlooking the pools and beach, is great for those seeking a casual atmosphere and plenty of that Floridian sun!! And as if all this wasn't enough, you can take advantage of the facilities at the sister property, The Reach, just one block away.

We were treated like royalty to say the least. I kept saying this is perfect! The drinks, the fruit, the staff made my day extra special! I can't wait to return! Thanks again Ryan! Read less

I did the daycation at this hotel because I was already staying at another hotel with friends. This resort was great. I paid $30 to access all the amenities for the day. This is a difficult review to write, because there were both strong positives and negatives about our stay. The property is a lovely grand dame hotel with a beautiful beach and waterfront bar, along with other dining options and a convenience store and coffee shop. The front desk was slow, yet professional and helpful. They were understanding about our delayed arrival due to wildfires. For the price, the room was small and not very clean compared to Hilton standards. The room's outer door was very rusty, the hallway was not kept clean, and the elevator was operating questionably. Upon informing the desk, they gave us a price adjustment, and they responded very quickly when we were having AC problems which were totally our fault. We rented beach chairs and umbrellas and the staff there was great! So we enjoyed our stay, and the management took measures to fix our problems, yet I don't feel I can rate it as highly as a hotel where we experienced no problems. Read less

Came for a weekend from Miami . Hotel is too expensive for what it offers. Looks more like a popular boat's trip than a 5 starts hotel. Not worth to stay.
