The hotel

Mixing an intimate feel with a super-central spot in upmarket Coconut Grove, and the uber-cool styling you’d expect from a Miami hotel, The Mayfair has it all. In fact you don’t even need to venture out — the Miami scene comes to you, with the hotel’s Above Mayfair rooftop pool lounge featuring weekly ‘Sunset of Miami’ pool parties, Friday night happy hours, resident DJs, a curved Gaudi-esque seating wall complete with fireplace, a casual food menu, and custom cocktails. The rooftop is the hub of the action by day too, with its heated swimming pool and views over Miami and Biscayne Bay. Downstairs holds its own treasures though, with the Spartico trattoria’s authentic Italian dishes cooked up in an authentic Ambrogi oven, and the Jurlique Spa’s organic products.

Where is it

In the heart of upscale Coconut Grove, a district famous for its al fresco café culture, high-energy nightlife and shopping, it’s just moments from CocoWalk’s dining and entertainment, and 10-minute walk from Biscayne Bay, home to white sands, seafood and sailing. The hotel’s 15 minutes from downtown Miami and 20 minutes from South Beach. Driving time from Miami International Airport: 30 minutes.

This hotel was amazing! I just can not get over the jungle oasis. I stayed in the deluxe studio with the bathtub inside. Chefs kiss. The staff was amazing! I enjoyed every bit. The food was good (i had a burger at SipSip).I’m sad I had the nerve to want to hotel hop lol but it’s all good. I know when I’m ever in Miami I’ll definitely be staying at… Read more

I will say the pillows are great. I did guest sevice for two more. Easily done. We have been coming to the Mayfair House and hotel since 2016, since my boys were small. They loved the atmosphere. The plants, waterfalls the whole thing. Rooftop pool is great and good food. We come back every few years. We live in Jupiter, Florida and we consider this a vacation. The atrium hotel is just amazing. Plants 🪴 the hotel staff is second to none. We've been to Hawaii many times, nice atrium hotels, not as good as mayfair staff. Fabian, our valet, is so pleasant and accommodating, he needs a huge kudos, reward! The hotel staff is amazing, the housekeepers are so friendly. Its just a really great place to stay just an hour and a half from home. Felt like a real vacation. Im so glad the Mayfair hasn't lost its vibe. Its so amazing. I hope more people book this hotel. Thank you Fabian. You are truly a good guy. So welcoming! You were happy to assist. Truly appreciate you. Hope your bosses recognize you for what you do. If it wasn't for you, we wouldn't come back. The staff is key. We were home in an hour and a half, in sunpass lane. That is unheard of 10 years ago, so easy to get there and home to Jupiter. We will be back next summer. Look forward to seeing you all. Love this hotel!!!! Remember, its an atrium, in Miami, when you exit your hotel suite, its hot, its Florida. Restaurant closed down, room not turned over until after 5pm, no water restocked in room, they took our hand soap and didn’t refill it. Overall not what we have experience in the past except valet Fabian was excellent. He was fast, polite and funny.

This hotel was absolutely my favorite hotel I’ve ever been to. The surrounding area has so much to do within walking distance. The hotel is absolutely dreamy and gorgeous. Fabian our valet was super attentive and helped us with directions.

The hotel was charming. The staff were super helpful & professional! I accidentally left some cash & jewelry out instead of using the safe, and housekeeping didn’t touch a thing,truly trustworthy. A special shoutout to our valet, Fabian!
