The water taxi is a good option for transport to and from the park or there is the garden path walkway about a 10 min walk to park. The hotel pool is a decent size, lots of activities and a good bar. The hotel bar is called strong water tavern and is very relaxed, serves good tapas style food. We bought a smores kit from the hotel shop and headed straight to the outside seating fire pit. I would recommend this Universal on site to anyone and please don’t pay any attention to the negative reviews. My only negative comment is the hotel does not offer express passes as part of the stay and i really think Universal should reconsider their position on this given the price point of Sapphire Falls. Hope to be back soon!!!! Read less

We just finished a week and 1/2 stay at both Helios and Sapphire Falls. We've stayed at Sapphire Falls 6 times already with our family, and we always love our stay there. However, this time was even more appreciated as the staff there, particularly the Concierge team and front desk team were extra accommodating and helpful, going way beyond the basics. For example, we wanted to stay an extra day and the price had increased significantly from when we booked. The concierge team, specifically Rafael and Brielle, helped us with the support of Lindsey from the management side, to book or same room for the extra date at a much better rate. They didn't have to do this, but this team specifically went out of their way to help. I really appreciated them taking the time to listen and for Rafael taking the time to go and speak to Lindsey - he didn't have to do that but still went out of his way. As we booked this extra day, I mentioned in passing to front desk team, Katelyn and Alex, that we had a birthday in the family, and not only were they so helpful and warm when booking our extra day, but they sent up a gift basket and wine with a really nice note. It's this kind of attention that makes us appreciate going back to a resort like Sapphire Falls, not just for the amazing resort and amenities themselves, but for the attentive and kind service. Syl was also great when we first arrived, and was definitely on the ball when we first go there - really knows his stuff and how to treat guests. I also want to mention Marie who came to clean our room after a small, messy accident by one of our children - she went out of her way to not only help to clean the sheets in the evening, but do a further clean-up of our room. The above team members were extra kind, so while I don't typically write reviews, I specifically wanted to do so here. Thank you Sapphire Falls for a great stay and see you again next year! Read less

This a beautiful resort and kept very clean. All team members were kind and helpful. The pool is beautiful and thoroughly enjoyable. The boat ride to city walk and bus rides to epic are easy to navigate. If you’re up for a longish walk to city walk, that’s not bad either.

Spent a week here. Plus points, staff, shuttle boat to City Walk, large pool, daily room cleaning. Negative points, pool loungers are the most uncomfortable ever. Rooms have little storage. Grab and go shop is expensive and poor quality. Not sure where they get their coffee, but it is unpleasant. The Hotel Bar is small, not sure it's even a bar,… Read more

Grab and go shop is expensive and poor quality. Not sure where they get their coffee, but it is unpleasant. The Hotel Bar is small, not sure it's even a bar, more of a shelf, limited seating. Parking seems very expensive, for a resort hotel. There are no laundry facilities like in other resort hotels. Tips.. There is a Starbucks next door. There is an amazing top floor bar at the hotel next door, like a proper grown ups bar. Use an Uber if there is heavy rain , as the water taxi isn't waterproof. Epic is 20 mins bus ride away. The first bus was full 15 minutes before departure, leaving kids crying on the sidewalk. Read less

I have mixed feelings on this hotel. We visited with a very large group. Pros-Staff members were all friendly. Great pool area. Shuttle boat to universal was a huge plus. Clean room. Cons- looking a little run down, scuff on walls. 1st floor smells TERRIBLE like pet dander. Dog barking loudly. Our room on the back on the 4th floor had VERY loud… Read more
