We liked sapphire falls a lot. Having the water taxi to universal was amazing. So fast and very easy to get the stroller on and off. The hotel had a quick service cafe that was fantastic … had various hot food options like breakfast burritos in the am and hot pizza at night. Also had ice cream and lots of snacks and junk food lol. Great coffee. We ate at the rum bar and had tapas & drinks too. Our room was nice sized and the entry was enough room to fit a double bob. We liked the pool a lot.. big shallow area plus a slide, splash pad and hot tub. They had movies on at the pool each night. We had a pool day planned and went across the street to cabanas for the pools and lazy river. They had a lot of food options, including a food court but the food was lower quality - pre-prepared stuff, it was ok just not great. They didn’t seem to have pool seat drink service and the drinks at the bar were not as good as sapphire in our opinion. The lazy river was fun. Brought our own little Floats as theirs are $$$. The pool and lazy river was heated but the lazy river was full of plant leaves, flowers, pollen etc. Tons of life guards tho. We rented from kingdom strollers and that was so convenient because they will leave it with the luggage staff for pick up and drop off. We took the bus to Epic on Saturday. A bit difficult to load the stroller compared to water taxi but was fine. We did Epic preview before it fully opened. The lines for the rides were long and they did frequently close down. It’s a great park though with some of the coolest rides I’ve ever done. Read less

Just stayed at Sapphire Falls for 14 nights and although the hotel and pool were amazing we still left feeling a bit disappointed with our stay. We handpicked this hotel for our 25th Wedding Anniversary due to the location and Loews reputation for customer service but felt this fell short. Our two family members traveling with us when checking in were told they had no booking at the hotel even though they booked the package with TUI the same time as we did. The hotel staff were very unhelpful and basically said even if TUI sorted it out the hotel was full and they had no rooms available. After a couple of hours it was finally sorted and magically a room had become available. At one point we thought they would be sharing our room for the night because they had no other options. Still not sure if it was the hotel or TUI at fault but it didnt give us a great start to the holiday. The hotel itself is lovely and probably has the best hotel pool i have been to in my 30 years of traveling to Orlando. Plenty of sunbeds, parasols, pool is heated and there is a fun slide. The boat or short walk to the parks is ideal, its also about 10 min walk to Volcano Bay. The rooms are spacious and well eqipped. We stayed in room 1805 and did have a problem with our air conditioning the last few days of our holiday and had it fixed several times but it just kept going off. It was so hot one night we didnt get any sleep. On our last day they did offer to move us rooms but couldnt tell us what time and as we were checking out the next morning we didnt want to spend our final night moving all our stuff to a different room. The guy that came on Friday night and actually fixed it was brilliant and apologised to u, i wish i had got his name just to say thanks on here! Overall we did enjoy our stay and due to the location and 1 hour early entrance we would consider staying again but would also look at other options within Universal. Read less

This is my second time staying in Loews Sapphire Falls and I'm currently 12 nights into a 14 night stay. We first stayed here pre-covid and really enjoyed the hotel as the place was clean, staff were friendly, and the boat to and from the parks is great. We recommended the hotel to friends who've subsequently stayed here and really enjoyed it, with the most recent being November 2024. For the most part, very little has changed since we last stayed here. The hotel itself is still clean, gym is good (though the treadmills could do with some maintenance), pool staff are very attentive, the boat the the park is still as enjoyable as before, and the reception staff were great to deal with. Our main issue has been with room cleaning. In the 12 nights we've been here, we've only had our room cleaned 3 times, despite us being out of the room most days between 8am and 4pm. I've continuously had to get new towels from the housekeeping cart when the housekeeping team have been on our floor cleaning other rooms, or getting them from the gym. I've brought our rubbish out to the housekeeping cart every day, but we still didn't have anyone come to the room to clean the room. The housekeeping team have been very polite whenever we've had any interaction with them, we just don't seem to be able to get the room cleaned without requesting it. Finally, today, after another day of the room now being cleaned, my wife mentioned it to an employee at reception and to their credit, they were very friendly and have said they will send someone to clean the room. However, we really shouldn't have to ask for our room to be cleaned or to constantly have to try source clean towels for ourselves. Read less

However, upon returning home, I discovered that several expensive clothing items were missing from my luggage. This was incredibly disappointing and completely overshadowed what had otherwise been a pleasant stay. I immediately contacted the hotel, and while they did open an investigation, I’ve received no meaningful updates and have little confidence anything will come of it. It’s extremely upsetting to spend hard-earned money on a trip, only to feel violated and let down by the lack of accountability. Until this is properly addressed, I can’t recommend this hotel and won’t be returning. Travelers should take extra care with their belongings when staying here. Read less

This is our third time staying at the resort and I was so excited for my husband and toddler to visit for the first time. When we checked in all of our requests had been met, we had high floor interconnecting rooms with my mum. We were also in tower 3 which goes down directly to the boat transport. The rooms are spacious, clean and amazing. We had enough room for the two beds and the pack and play for our toddler. We also had a bath which was super handy when you have a toddler. There is nothing better than coming back to a cold room after being in the parks. The staff were outstanding, everyone was helpful and friendly. The food is amazing as are the drinks. I would always choose to stay here out of all the universal hotels, the pool area speaks for itself and proximity to the parks. Tips Request a high floor room They have great baby/toddler facilities, they provided a pack and play and cute amenity kit for her You get an hour extra in the park each morning, use it to get on hagrids. We had room 3827 and whilst the view was of endless summer way, the rooms were spacious, quiet and clean. I would go back to this hotel over and over again! I have travelled the world and worked in travel and would highly recommend this hotel Read less
