Walt Disney World Swan

Walt Disney World, Orlando

Star rating

The hotel

Next to the Walt Disney World Dolphin and the Swan Reserve, you’ll be wowed by what’s on offer across these three resorts. Being a partner hotel of Disney, by staying here you'll have access to a whole host of exclusive benefits that will allow you to make the most of the parks - with early entry every single day as well as extended hours at the end of the day on select evenings too! As well as this, you can use the complimentary transportation to the parks - although you won't need it to get to EPCOT or Disney's Hollywood Studios, they're within easy walking distance (or a scenic water taxi ride). And our favourite thing about staying within this complex of hotels, is the fact that you have access to the facilities of all 3! So that's over 20 restaurants and bars, 6 pools, a spa and daily activities for all ages to just name a few. Staying here will ensure you get the upmost of your Walt Disney World trip, but you'll also have plenty to keep you entertained on non-park days too.

Our second time staying in the dolphin and it was as perfect as the first time! Great staff, extremely clean and well kept, rooms were large and beds were very comfortable! Love the easy access to Epcot! Will continue to stay there when visiting Orlando!

To attend a world convention in Orlando, I stayed in this hotel for 6 nights last month. It is a large hotel within the large Walt Disney Complex and has all facilities to hold big meetings with numerous large and small meeting halls/rooms. The rooms are larger than normally you find in similar hotels and have all the required amenities. Service… Read more

Pros: Beautiful grounds and complex, very friendly staff, lots of amenities in the area between the Swan and Dolphin (including multiple restaurants, arcade, market, etc.), convenient ferry access to Hollywood Studios, Epcot, Boardwalk, walking distance to the Boardwalk, several pools with something for everyone (kids pool, quieter pools with more adults), happily upgraded usto a corner view room (we even saw Epcot fireworks!!) given my husband's Marriot status. Areas of Improvement: all of our USB ports throughout the room did not work so it was difficult charging devices (phones, computers, etc) without a block, hair dryer sparked and broke upon first use and was in a time crunch for dinner reservations and had to wait 30-40 minutes for another one, the comforter was loud, scratchy, and felt damp at times (just not very comfortable) on the first night so didn't get much sleep. We asked for "blankets" instead which were much more comfortable on the second night. Overall we will be back and try to plan ahead for the minor challenges we faced. :) We had a relaxing and enjoyable stay. Read less

We’ve stayed here for two weeks so we have had a good time to experience the resort. Some things that could be better- parking - they save valet spaces for over 100 cars and there are never more than 20 but the parking is a nightmare, especially the dolphin. They oversell it and then people just park where they want or they close it. Signage for parking from the front drive needs improved as well. The laundry needs a major revamp - half the machines work, half don’t. It’s like laundry roulette ever time you go in. There is a sign on the wall that says pick up phone to contact - there isn’t a phone… The rooms are very small - two double beds are good for kids not two adults and two teens. The closet doors were broken and the overfeel is old. The beds were very comfortable though! For $300 a night plus resort fee plus $38 for parking - we expected better. The housekeeping and front desk staff is fantastic - very professional and friendly. It seemed that the majority of restaurants were understaffed so big kudos to those working! Long wait times and 1/3 of the restaurant was empty. Not sure how these families afford the hotel, the food, the Disney tickets ($170 a person is ridiculous!) and just basic fees. The mainstream family is getting priced out of this experience unfortunately and the Disney hospitality isn’t what it used to be to be. Read less
