Our recent experience at the Swan Reserve was deeply disappointing. While we’ve been loyal guests of Marriott properties for the past 15 years, this visit was far from the standard we’ve come to expect. During our stay, our 16-month-old child discovered a used bloody pad in the bathroom—clearly left behind from a previous guest. A Incredibly disturbing and unacceptable oversight in cleanliness. What made the situation even more troubling was the way it was handled by the hotel staff. Given that a child was involved, we expected a much more serious and compassionate response. This type of incident poses a real health risk and raises serious concerns about the overall cleanliness and safety standards of the property. As a Disney-affiliated resort that caters to families, this lapse is especially alarming. We hope this matter is addressed with the urgency and accountability it deserves—not only for our family, but for the safety of all future guests. Read less

The gym was well equipped with a nice view of the trees that surround the grotto pool just across the road at the Swan. My sister stayed at the Swan and the walk from our room to the grotto pool was much shorter than from her room. The ceilings were much higher in our room at the Reserve than at the Swan. And we appreciated the smaller size of the hotel- you cannot get lost, unlike the Swan and Dolphin. Read less

My husband and I spent a night at Disney’s Swan Reserve, and it exceeded our expectations. From the moment we arrived, Mackai made us feel welcome—warm, hospitable, and incredibly helpful. We were thrilled that our room was ready by noon, a rare and appreciated surprise! We stayed in a one-bedroom suite, which was clean, crisp, and spacious—perfect for the two of us. We especially loved the thoughtful bathroom layout: a half bath with a sink and toilet separated from the main bath, which featured an additional sink and shower. It made getting ready so much easier. While we didn’t have time to fully enjoy the pool, restaurants, bars, or fitness center, we took a quick look around—and everything looked top-notch for future visits. The location is ideal for exploring EPCOT and Hollywood Studios—we loved not having to use our car at all. We’ll absolutely stay here again and are already recommending the Swan Reserve to friends, family, and clients. Read less

We stayed in a one-bedroom suite at the Swan Reserve and I found it incredibly functional and thoughtfully designed. The floor-to-ceiling windows let in tons of natural light, and we happened to have a view of the pool, Tower of Terror (my kids’ favorite ride!), and even Everest in the distance. The layout of the room is great—each space is compartmentalized in a way that allows for privacy and quiet, while still feeling connected. I could enjoy a bright, open master room with windows and lights on, while my kids rested in a completely darkened space next door, thanks to the separate room with its own TV and thermostat. There are lots of thoughtful touches: plenty of USB and USB-C outlets, three TVs (which might be overkill, but nice to have), and a microwave, which came in handy. The bathroom setup is modern and well-lit with a dual sink/toilet layout—great for families needing a bit more separation in the morning. Tons of closet space and drawers too. I had a robe but no slippers—small detail, but worth noting. As a Marriott Platinum Elite, I received breakfast vouchers, which were slightly confusing at first but ended up being very convenient. They could be applied to room service, and I was told they covered up to $30 per voucher. This worked well for me and my two kids—even though we likely went over a bit with delivery fees, it was still worth it. One morning, there was some miscommunication about how the voucher worked, but the staff kindly adjusted $30 off my bill, which I appreciated. We didn’t use the pool, but our view overlooked it. It looked clean and relaxing, and the cabanas looked really nice. The pool is on the smaller side, so I imagine many families head next door to the larger pools at the Swan or Dolphin. Housekeeping was a bit inconsistent—we only received turndown service the first two of our four nights, which felt odd. Also, the complimentary bottled water varied daily (some days one, others three), and room service didn’t automatically bring water with meals, so we ended up ordering it separately. That said, we made good use of room service each evening—desserts and wine for mom became a little nightly tradition. I loved having that option, especially since not all Disney properties offer room service, even at higher price points. While I didn’t receive a complimentary upgrade, I used a Rewards-based upgrade which was just fine. The staff was friendly and professional throughout our stay. And of course, the location is a major highlight—being able to walk to both EPCOT and Hollywood Studios is a huge perk and made park days much easier. Overall, a very enjoyable and comfortable stay. I’ll definitely be back. Read less
