The resort was great, made special by the staff overall. I was in a deluxe villa. Obviously it’s not deluxe but had A/C, fan, lots of sockets, comfy bed and big bathroom. Food was very good. Always a nice meal available with chicken, beef and fish daily. Now our waiter was Nimesh. A lovely man, always smiling and polite. Made us feel welcome.… Read more

Always a nice meal available with chicken, beef and fish daily. Now our waiter was Nimesh. A lovely man, always smiling and polite. Made us feel welcome. All restaurant staff were good, but he stood out. Beaches were lovely and the main attraction was the fabulous reef. Just off shore the drop offs were awesome. Saw most things, including the reef sharks daily (about 4 to 5 foot long) we did the night snorkelling which was an experience as the fish and sharks come right next to you. Also saw a stingray and big nurse shark. Weather was great for us. Mostly sunny. Very hot and humid as expected. There was a free pool able and table tennis. Equipment awful but we had own bats. Bar area nice atmosphere. Off season so generally quiet. Drinks on all inclusive generally fine. Overall solid choice and happy. Many thanks to hotel. Read less

We had a great stay! The staff were very friendly, especially Nuzufa – the kind lady from the dining area. She was always warm, attentive, and truly made us feel cared for. For example, when we needed warm water instead of cold, she brought it right away. Her hospitality was heartwarming. The reef near our beach was full of life – fish, turtles, even reef sharks. There were always quiet spots, free sunbeds, and the ocean was clean, warm, and full of marine life. The room was tidy, with fresh towels and water daily. Food was simple but always fresh and tasty. A few downsides: mosquito fogging happened without warning (a guest alert system would help), occasional smell of burning plastic, and some sharp coral near the shore. But overall – a fantastic experience! Read less

Must say the view was beautiful and house reef was excellent but that's were it ends, Food and drink were of a poor quality, some days not fit to be consumed so we went without Spent 7 days and nights smelling our neighbours smoking pot with resort staff, when spoke about it was told he's the owners son and can do what he wants. Rustic is a understatement it needs closing whilst the ongoing refurbishment is completed it certainly isn't paradise Read less

Brilliant trip to Eriyadu Island resort. The island is smaller than some and coupled with a super friendly and helpful staff team, relaxing ambiance, great beach and easy snorkelling, chilled wildlife and excellent food it’s a really lovely place to stay. The Management team were keen to learn how they could make any improvements for future and even jumped right in to offer taster sessions there and then. So special mentions to Aditi for the fabulous yoga sessions and Exec Chef Ganesh for the delicious Maldivian and Sri Lankan cooking class, really hope something along these lines can be part of future offer for guests as really added something special to an already great visit. Also big thanks to Sagor who kept our room very clean and tidy and Rayhan in the restaurant who was always there remembering our favourite drinks and attentive caring service. Both also made beautiful table and bed displays for husbands birthday. As resorts go, Eriyadu is simpler and less luxurious than some, but it’s super comfortable, clean and friendly and if you love chilling and watching a day in the life of Birds, little Hermit crab conferences and great variety of fish on the reef then you’ll be v happy here. There was some work to upgrade properties whilst we were there but they did their best to keep the noise down and wasn’t obtrusive. We just felt guilty watching them all work so hard whilst we relaxed! Read less

The rooms were older and the air conditioning less powerful, but the rooms were clean, new towels every day. The wifi connection was weaker, there was none in the room at all.
