The hotel

Charmingly modern, yet at the same time crammed full with culture, the Dan Panorama has little touches of history everywhere you look. From the natural stone exterior, to the rooftop pool overlooking the city and the unbeatable location, you’re certainly in for a treat. Sample some Israeli cuisine in the restaurant, and chill out in one of the three bars, cocktail in hand. Hop across the road to Bloomfield Gardens (one of the largest parks in Jerusalem) and meander through the Old City, admiring the fascinating architecture and historical remnants of one of the oldest cities in the world.

Several years ago, the Dan Panorama was at best a mediocre hotel, however, several years ago things began to change. Several years ago, the Dan Panorama was at best a mediocre hotel, however, several years ago things began to change. The new wing is very nice with state-of-the-art elevators and large comfortable rooms. This was one of the only rooms I have been in that had good reading lights near the bed, which is important to me. The beds and pillows were extremely comfortable. The staff is very accommodating, the food is good, and the location is excellent. The price for such a nice and well located hotel is very reasonable and, in my opinion, an excellent value. I would stay there again. Read less

The service at this hotel is excellent - friendly, efficient, and timely. The dining room staff and management is truly exceptional. We were warmly greeted and served every day. The location is also a big plus. We were within walking distance to many of the places we especially wanted to go. A great experience all the way around.

The Dan Panorama Jerusalem is a gem from start to finish The most impressive thing about it is its customer service At the Dan, they say you are family and, indeed, you feel like you are at home GONEN is the new manager this year, and he paid the utmost attention to any concerns , handling them in a quick, successful manner GAL, the front desk manager, is the nicest person you can imagine He tries to assign rooms which best meet the guests' needs He always manages to accommodate special requests with a smile He is ably assisted by SALOOM, who is as friendly as he is capable BAASAM, the fruit and beverage director, is a veteran at his job - and it shows He remembers his guests from years before, greers everyone with a smile, and tries to accommodate special needs ( we had a double stroller ,and thus needs a table which was suitable) SHIMON, the breakfast manager, has been a staple at the hotel for over 40 years and can always be relied upon to manage our requests - sometimes, before we even ask! The dining room truly benefits having NAIM as head waiter He goes over to all tables - attentive to all needs The same can be said for HMADA, who is a newer member of the dining room management KHALID and ALI , also in the dining room, are very cordial and accommodating as well The food is of fine quality and abundant Kudos to the chef, MICHEL At times, there was a bit of repetitiveness in the selection, but what can you expect during a 9 day stay! The executive lounge is serene and worth the upgrade NOR, the host, is very pleasant The food selection in the lounge only got better as the days went by! The hotel is very accommodating to children, not only having activities for them, but also dealing with their rambunctiousness with a smile The hotel also offers free neighborhood guided tours during the holiday What a lovely touch! The hotel has a wonderful location as well What more can I say, except that we hope to be blessed with the ability to return next year! Read less

DO NOT RECOMMEND Here’s why: - There is only 1 person making eggs at breakfast. - The safe in the room needed a battery replacement and only after multiple times of calling them to replace the battery they came. - They treat kids like they are NOTHING, If a kid talks to them they won’t even listen they told our son immediately when he started talking, to bring his father, there are more situations that happened overall, THEY TREAT KIDS LIKE TRASH. - they skipped our room while cleaning (we asked them to), but when we asked them to clean it they didn’t come, then after we called 2 or 3 times they came. OVERALL: I think this hotel is the worst place to spend your money. All of these things happened to us. Last updated: 17 April 2025 Read less
