I wanted to take a moment to express my deepest appreciation to the incredible team at the Palace. Every visit feels like a return home, thanks to the warmth, dedication, and genuine care shown by so many of your staff, who I am proud to also call family. A special mention must go to Ferdous and William at the Palace Lounge. What fabulous hosts they are. Juan has done an outstanding job leading such a talented team. I am especially proud of Ferdous and his recent promotion; an achievement so well deserved. William’s consistently warm welcome and positive energy are truly uplifting and greatly appreciated. Vera was a lovely addition to the family and it was a pleasure to be in her company. It is always a pleasure to see the Palace Lounge team; the kindness they show on every visit creates a true sense of belonging. It is, without question, a family. Chef Jagath Indika deserves recognition for his dedication and excellence in the Palace Lounge; it’s a joy to see his passion come through in every detail. Wallace and the valet team continue to provide a spectacular welcome each time; their consistency and hospitality do not go unnoticed. Polo serving staff at Arboretum continue to deliver magnifique service, and I am always impressed by the professionalism and attentiveness of the team. Chef Eric, it is always a pleasure to catch up with you and hear about your green-fingered initiatives. Your passion is infectious. Rohit and the team are forever showing excellence as a service during dining - fulfilling all needs with care and dedication. They remain consistently welcoming, attending to every detail with warmth and precision - their standard of service is truly exemplary. It’s always lovely to see Katty at concierge, and James - your ever-radiant smile and welcoming aura always make my day. Room service, however, was a bit slower and less responsive than usual on this visit - a small point, but one I hope can be looked into. The Celeste team, though featuring many new faces, were absolutely lovely and eager to assist - refreshing to see such enthusiasm. Dilip, the Abra captain, continues to impress with his attentiveness and memory - each welcome feels more joyful than the last, and his energy is unmatched. Unfortunately, I did experience some disappointment with the E-Butler service, particularly regarding the lack of communication; I hope this can be improved in the future, as it’s such an important part of the guest experience. In the room, the bed linen was not clean and had sand on it, which was very disappointing. Additionally, the floor did not appear to be vacuumed properly, and on the balcony, there were scraps of string tied to the bars, which affected the overall presentation of the space. Similarly, Reception service felt a little below the usual high standard; response times were not as prompt, and I often found myself having to follow up on matters, which was unexpected. Lastly, I must express my utmost admiration for Fatma Lamara; she is an absolute delight to see, consistently delivering everything that defines a true welcome home. Her dedication to the guest experience and her embodiment of front-of-house excellence are truly commendable. Thank you once again to the entire team. Your continued dedication, warmth, and professionalism are what make this place so special. I look forward to my next visit with great anticipation. Read less

The capital of a hotel is its personal, and in that sense the Al Qasr is very rich. Right from the arrival you're treated like a VIP. 3 guys from the beach team deserve a special mentioning: Ashraf, Nadeem and Sharif

Unfortunately, my recent experience at Jumeirah Al Qasr was disappointing due to the unprofessional behavior of two staff members — Daria at the reception and Sergey, the manager on duty. From the moment I arrived, there was a noticeable lack of warmth and hospitality. Daria was cold, unwelcoming, and seemed irritated by simple questions. Instead of making guests feel comfortable, she gave the impression that helping us was a burden. Even more surprising was the attitude of the manager, Sergey, who was dismissive and showed no interest in resolving the concerns we raised. His tone was rude and condescending — something completely unacceptable, especially in a hotel of this level. In addition to the poor service, the room itself had an unpleasant smell — particularly the bedsheets — which made the stay even more uncomfortable. On top of that, whenever I tried to reach room service, I was repeatedly connected to the wrong number, which was frustrating and inconvenient. Jumeirah Al Qasr used to be one of my favorite places to dine and relax, especially at its restaurants. But after this disappointing staycation experience, I no longer feel the same way and, unfortunately, will not be returning. Read less
