We had a great stay overall. There was a bit of miscommunication about the pool timings—our eButler mentioned 7am, but all pools actually open at 9am. The pool near our villa was shallow (1.2m), and the beachside pool had a similar depth but featured a nice wet deck area. It took about 40 minutes to get a buggy to Wild Wadi, but we made it by 5pm (with the park closing at 6pm). That said, we really enjoyed the convenience of roaming the resort and neighboring hotels via buggy. The complimentary access to Wild Wadi and breakfast buffet at Arboretum were definite highlights. The birthday and anniversary gestures were a lovely touch. While the “Happy Birthday” petals were placed in our room instead of our friend’s, it wasn’t an issue—they also gave a cake, balloons, and printed photos, which we appreciated. A few minor downsides: no bidet spray in the bathroom, and the room felt slightly warm at night even with the AC set to 18°C. Overall, a wonderful experience in a beautiful resort setting. Highly recommended! Read less

We had an amazing time, our butlers Malik & Khalil made our stay enormously pleasant. Dilip the abra driver picked us up every day and made my girls smile every time they saw him. He gave us really good service and we really enjoyed our abra trips with him. We love the abra service makes you feel like you're in Venice. It's definitely a major plus for the resort. The resort it self is so gorgeous, you will feel amazed every single day because it's so gorgeous. Rooms are spacious and filled with all the luxury you'll need. They even have a Dyson hairdryer in the room. Breakfast is GREAT! If you don't see what you like, ask a waiter they'll fix it for you. Ask Musa to make your egg, he's the best! Very friendly as well. Kids club is amazing for kids, it's huge. My kids are 3 and 2 and they had the best time. They offer drop off as well for a maximum of 3 hours. They will call you if your kid is asking for you. The main pool is around the corner, very ideal. Also there is a lot of nursery staff to watch the kids. They are all very friendly and caring. I cannot wait to be back to this beautiful hotel. The best I stayed in so far. Read less

Our stay at Jumeirah Dar Al Masyaf was nothing short of magical — a perfect blend of traditional Arabian charm and world-class luxury. Tucked away in lush gardens and peaceful waterways, this resort felt like a hidden paradise. We stayed in a room with a stunning lagoon view, and it was absolutely breathtaking. Waking up to the calm water and serene surroundings each morning was a dream come true. The villa was spacious, beautifully designed, and incredibly private — the perfect escape for relaxation and romance. The majlis experience was another highlight — an elegant and peaceful space where we enjoyed refreshments and moments of calm throughout our stay. It added a beautiful cultural touch that made the experience even more special. One of the most unique and enjoyable parts of the resort was the lagoon boat ride. Gliding through the water canals, surrounded by palm trees and traditional architecture, gave us a new appreciation for the beauty of the resort. It felt like something out of a fairytale. A very special thank you to our butler, Nurlan, who took amazing care of us from start to finish. She was kind, attentive, and always ready to help. Her warm hospitality truly elevated our experience. Jumeirah Dar Al Masyaf is more than just a resort — it's a peaceful sanctuary where every detail is thoughtfully curated. We left feeling refreshed, pampered, and already planning our return. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a luxurious and serene getaway. Read less

We have been travelling to Dubai since 2010 and apart from one year have returned to this fabulous our favourite destination ever since. Leaving is always so hard for us although we do so in the knowledge that as sonn as we are home, we rebook for next year and we will be returning again in 2026. Many reviews, including our own, have been written about DAM and it fully justifies the five star rating. There have been many changes of course since 2010 and not all of them have been welcomed by us, including additional meal supplements, changing the Sundowner times and removing the personal butler service. However we accept that change is inevitable for many reasons and to balance this there have also been other changes that have been well received, including the new infinity pools. The one constant we can always rely upon and the one that ensures we return is the fabulous service we receive for all staff. We enjoy this interaction and would like to take this opportunity to recognise the following from our recent stay: Housekeeper: Ashbin. Such an attentive and helpful individual who is always smiling Pool bar: Edward. His warm greeting on each occasion immediately wants you to stay for as long as possible Beach attendant: Humayun. Remembers where we like to spend time and on a daily basis does his best to achieve this. Villa host: Nabina. We had a few very minor issues and Nabina was excellent and so professional in resolving. Promenade breakfast: Olga. Again always has a very warm and welcoming smile Villa pool attendant: Sulton who also provides excellent service and attention. He even provided messages on our bed. Please pass on our warm thanks and appreciation to this fabulous team, Regards Judith and Nigel Read less

It’s our first time to book in Dar Al Masyaf because my friends stayed in this hotel couple of times and highly recommended. Upon checking in, you can feel the luxury service from reception till the butler. I booked 2 rooms but upon checking in, only 1 is available. At first we dont mind the delay because my kids were happy about the spacious luxury room. The 2nd room got available around 4 pm but we never complain. Our butler Ashish made sure that we have all we need and I appreciate the effort to surprise my daughter’s birthday. We love the happy hour and he Ashish exceed our expectations. After Happy hour, Went back to the room to dress up for dinner and return around 11 pm. Our Abra driver tour us and it was amazing. When we came back, The room AC was not cooling at all and we slept uncomfortably, again we did not complain thinking it might be an isolated case. After our breakfast, we requested for late check out but refused despite granting our friends room till 2 pm. At 11:45, the cleaner want us to vacate the room even before check out time. Though we silently comply and rush ourselves to pack our things. Ashish arrange us our caddy to drop os to wild wadi. While were in WW, hotel called me and send me message that they will charge us for damage bed, in which we font know how? Only my daughter slept in the king bed and my son and sister slept separately in extra bed and sofa due to warm temperature of the room. The way the person message us accusing us without asking if we cause the damage is intimidating.. I went back to hotel reception to show the manager the photo and video and he confirm that it’s impossible for us to do such damage to the property and waived the charges. Thanks to his logic thinking, It was a traumatic experience despite of my high expectations. I dont want this review to affect our butler Ashish because he tried his level best to give us exceptional service. I love the place, the service but i dont know when i can compromise this experience for me to book again. On our first day, were already planning to come back anytime soon. But after check out, i need to think again. I know Jumeirah can do better than this. But this is really an unforgettable experience in positive and negative ways Read less
