It’s our first time to book in Dar Al Masyaf because my friends stayed in this hotel couple of times and highly recommended. Upon checking in, you can feel the luxury service from reception till the butler. I booked 2 rooms but upon checking in, only 1 is available. At first we dont mind the delay because my kids were happy about the spacious luxury room. The 2nd room got available around 4 pm but we never complain. Our butler Ashish made sure that we have all we need and I appreciate the effort to surprise my daughter’s birthday. We love the happy hour and he Ashish exceed our expectations. After Happy hour, Went back to the room to dress up for dinner and return around 11 pm. Our Abra driver tour us and it was amazing. When we came back, The room AC was not cooling at all and we slept uncomfortably, again we did not complain thinking it might be an isolated case. After our breakfast, we requested for late check out but refused despite granting our friends room till 2 pm. At 11:45, the cleaner want us to vacate the room even before check out time. Though we silently comply and rush ourselves to pack our things. Ashish arrange us our caddy to drop os to wild wadi. While were in WW, hotel called me and send me message that they will charge us for damage bed, in which we font know how? Only my daughter slept in the king bed and my son and sister slept separately in extra bed and sofa due to warm temperature of the room. The way the person message us accusing us without asking if we cause the damage is intimidating.. I went back to hotel reception to show the manager the photo and video and he confirm that it’s impossible for us to do such damage to the property and waived the charges. Thanks to his logic thinking, It was a traumatic experience despite of my high expectations. I dont want this review to affect our butler Ashish because he tried his level best to give us exceptional service. I love the place, the service but i dont know when i can compromise this experience for me to book again. On our first day, were already planning to come back anytime soon. But after check out, i need to think again. I know Jumeirah can do better than this. But this is really an unforgettable experience in positive and negative ways Read less

Another special mention goes to lucky, he is warm and such a happy person He is all about customer service and feedback about all of the resort I look forward to seeing him. Hamad always ready to help with buggy transport and friendly chats.. luggage handler's… so efficient! Housekeepers , always taking every care in making sure our room was clean at all times! Breakfast, exceptional, with waiters Delore and Rubel always attentive!…Lastly, Our butler Sudath, so professional and efficient in his job always helping to create a lovely atmosphere at happy hour and wanting to make each stay truly special.. going above and beyond! A big reason for our repeated visits to the Dar al masyaf. We haven't stayed in the updated villas yet as we always stay in the beach villas which are yet to be refurbished.. but they still offer everything you could possibly want. Theres many many hotels in Dubai, weve stayed in several but none of them compare to the Dar al masyaf! Read less

We recently stayed at Dar Al Masyaf – Madinat Jumeirah to celebrate a very special family occasion: my brother’s wedding and honeymoon. Having previously had a wonderful experience at Jumeirah Al Qasr, we returned to Madinat Jumeirah with high expectations — unfortunately, this stay was a major disappointment. We had booked four rooms, and from the moment we checked in, none of them were properly cooled, with temperatures remaining between 23°C and 25°C — completely unacceptable during Dubai’s summer heat. Despite reporting the issue multiple times, including a technician visit at 2:00 AM, the problem was never resolved. On the second day, I raised the issue with the duty manager Mr. Amir Suliman, who offered to upgrade only one room and suggested we move the others. By that point, it was too late — our elderly parents had already settled in and moving wasn’t practical after two days of discomfort. No further assistance or compensation was offered, despite the impact this had on our overall experience. What’s worse is that similar complaints about AC issues in the canal-side rooms are widely available online, which clearly indicates an ongoing, well-known problem that management has failed to fix. For a resort that markets itself as a luxury destination, this level of service is unacceptable. Air conditioning is a basic necessity, especially in Dubai’s summer, and the way the situation was handled showed a lack of urgency and genuine care from the management team. I hope the hotel takes this feedback seriously — we certainly expected better from a brand like Jumeirah. Read less

The villa hosts are wonderful and always make sure that you have a fantastic stay, in particular giving me a super birthday teat. It is everyone who works at Jumeirah from the valet guys, luggage handlers, front desk, abra and buggy drivers, housekeepers and restaurant and bar attendants etc that do their jobs impeccably. Have been five times already to stay and I will be back again. Well done to Jumeirah. Read less
