On arrival and during check in, we were greeted with cold water bottles. We arrived at the hotel around 4:30am and we were offered complimentary room service as we had missed dinner for that evening. The room service was absolutely fantastic! The man at check in was professional and informative. The rooms were cleaned to a high standard, the only fault we found was the maintenance of the resort wasn’t very good. For such a new hotel, we found a few faults with door handles and locks not working as well as missing tiles at the bottom of the pool. I totally get that replacing tiles in a pool filled with thousands of gallons of water can be quite a challenge so that I do understand isn’t so simple, but the overall service and cleanliness really makes up for those minor repairs. A special thanks to the buffet staff who would greet us each morning with a tea pot of honey, lemon and ginger after finding out my mother had a sore throat. Moses, always had a smile and welcomed us each time with such joy and great service! The staff in the buffet, as well as the chefs are a total credit to the hotel! Shibin, one of the main chefs would come out to greet his guests and show such an interest in the happiness of us and couldn’t do enough for you, he even prepared dishes especially for my father and offered us choices of additional items. Nothing was too much trouble for him! So much food variety and everything was fresh and hot! The breakfast was brilliant with such a vast choice of pastries and different hot dishes. We were always given a choice of where to sit and never went without drinks each morning and evening. The service by the main pool was also very good, the men will greet you and give you a choice of sunbeds as well as lay your towels out for you and then bring metal iced buckets with bottled water. You are also given a QR code next to the sun lounger for you to order drinks and food. You can view the menu on there too. Thomas bringing the drinks to us worked absolutely tirelessly throughout our stay and we never went less than 5 mins from ordering drinks to receiving them. Even in extremely hot temperatures Thomas worked so hard! Thank you! We experienced lovely food at Noho as well as great service, levant and nar was in a lovely location looking over the ocean and in cooler weather it would be great to eat outside however the food was not really to our liking so we only ate their on one occasion. The service from the bar man in the cigar lounge was excellent and we never went without drinks! Thank you. Every member of staff is a credit to this hotel from reception to restaurant to pool to gardeners to cleaners, everyone was an asset to this hotel and it really made our stay memorable, I would not hesitate in recommending this hotel and hope to return in the future! Thank you very much Read less

We booked a staycation here (we live in Abu Dhabi) for my birthday. My husband booked it and as we were a little worried after reading reviews about noise from construction and the Kids Club, we contacted the hotel directly. We had already booked a Club Room in order to be able to use the Adults Only pool, and were glad we did as when we arrived the Main Reception was full of noisy kids:-). We were lucky enough to be upgraded because of my birthday and the room and the view was fantastic. I would recommend asking to be in the right hand side of the hotel to avoid noise & views of the ongoing construction to the left of the hotel. Our room was beautiful, and the service from Geralyn the Club Manager and her team was fantastic. The breakfast, afternoon tea, and cocktails & canapés were all great, and we made the most of them during our two night stay. We are one night next door at Mekong in the Anantara and had a fantastic meal there. We are the second night at the Levant & Mar restaurant which was absolutely lovely but with quite a big blip….we ordered the hot maze selection to share as a starter, the order was repeated back to us, but when it came it was the cold maze selection. Our waiter was so lovely we just didn’t have the heart to tell him he had made a mistake, so we ate it (and it was lovely….just not what we wanted!). Unfortunately the biggest service blip came on our last morning. We had told the Club staff that we needed to leave early, and would be in the Club Lounge at 7am to have breakfast & check out there. It opens at 630am, and we were assured this would all be fine. At 7am we arrived in the Lounge to find it completely deserted. We sat there for 10 minutes…..no one…. Eventually my husband knocked on the door of the kitchen, and a chef came out and started looking for staff. Five minutes later a girl appeared from a room behind the Club Reception, who seemed to have been asleep, and then informed us we couldnt check out in the Club until 830am, and that if we needed to check out earlier, it needed to be done at Main Reception. She then had to call the Concierge to get our bags. By this point it was almost 20 past 7. My husband went off to do the check out, without coffee or breakfast ( he had to be in Dubai for 9am), and I just about had time to get a take away coffee. Not at all the relaxing last breakfast and check out we had planned, and had been assured the previous evening was no problem. We had a lovely time, the upgraded room was lovely, the Club Lounge was great, but for the very poor experience on our last morning, I don’t think we will be back. Read less

We’ve never stayed at a IHG property before so we are new to this brand and don’t recommend it unless you like an issue free stay with staff that go above and beyond everywhere in the resort. The resort is very well kept and all the staff work very hard to keep it that way so a special thanks to the staff, the management and GM as consistency is key and this showed everywhere we went..there are constant team members visible cleaning and dusting in their blue shirts, their service did not go unnoticed. The room itself is nicely decorated with sufficient space for your luggage etc. The bathroom is well appointed and nice Byredo toiletries are included. Housekeeping (Haider) did an excellent job every day for us. There were 3 of us in a twin room and the beds were comfortable for all of us to share. On the odd occasion we have some water pressure issues in the shower but didn’t hamper our experience in anyway. Nice thing that seems never to work for us is the bathroom speaker that is linked to the TV does actually work! The lounge experience was excellent from breakfast to evening cocktails and canapés (self service cold with table served hot canapés) the staff cannot do enough. You can check in and out from this location. There are a number of books and a couple of games to entertain you. Breakfast menu differs on weekdays to weekends so enjoy the local dishes on the weekends, all are made to a high quality and portion sizes are just right. Morning drinks are made well as are the additional treats such as pastries etc. I enjoyed the foul medames, the various eggs Benedict’s and shakshuka, and halloumi fries for breakfast! You can order from in room dining in the lounge which we did once but had an issue with the pizza so this was quickly removed. We had the Sunday roast at the poolside bar which was actually very good, well cooked chicken served with a few sides, English roast dinner on the beach was a new experience. Afternoon tea varies each day and is very nice. The mixologist (Sumudu) is able to make the classic and signature cocktails along with mocktails as you prefer and there are self service snacks available at evening time. We particularly enjoyed the mocktails and cocktails with the team remembering our preferred cocktails (could never say no!!) and one too many Negronis and French Martinis were consumed with a smile. The staff that service the lounge and adults only pool are constantly ensuring you stay cool by taking orders for soft drinks. May, Irsan, Paula and the lifeguards looked after us so well. The pool is a nice place to be as an older family now so can enjoy the tranquility of this space. The main pool also looked good and was never busy, though this was low season. The beach is large and plenty of loungers available with a bar service available via QR code. The sea is inviting and the sand is nice and soft. We ate too many times at Levant & Nar including brunch and never ran out of choices and the mezze was amazing, we had to repeat some of these. The team there do an excellent job in ensuring you enjoy the cuisine, I would recommend this for brunch and a la carte. We ate at Noho a few times for their steak and frites, this was hit and miss as I don’t think each steak was 250gr as advertised, but the quality was good as was the wagyu burger. They do have Leffe blond on draught which is a bonus. We had an issue on our last night and the steak frites was removed, it looked underweight which was disappointing given the quality of the other food and across the resort in general. We had buffet breakfast once and the selection is good, mimosa’s and Bloody Mary’s are available but the breakfast table service at the lounge was our preference. We compared this lounge with other lounges in the world where we’ve been lucky to experience and this is in our top 1 as it offers a pool and service that cannot be compared. A special mention to Gerilyn, Paula, Nana, Tasya, May, Irsan, Sumudu, Mahesh and all the other chefs and all the lifeguards, keep smiling and keeping your guests happy as without this team I don’t think we would have enjoyed it as much as we did and already looking to return and try other IHG properties. Thanks again to the Club Team!! Read less
