The hotel

If ever a hotel was deliciously OTT, this is it. Its 39 acres host enough pools to swim in a different one every day of the week (and still have one spare); 2 championship golf courses; and dining experiences including a Sunday Brunch that will satisfy your hunger for a week, and High Teas with dainty cakes and finger sandwiches. The setting’s pretty lavish too – near Phoenix Mountain Preserve and Biltmore Fashion Park Mall. A Frank Lloyd Wright design masterpiece, with a 1930s pool rumoured to have been Marilyn Monroe’s favourite, Arizona Biltmore’s past is so fascinating they even host history tours. That’s not to say it’s stuck in the past: modern musts here include complimentary WiFi, a fitness centre, a 92-foot waterslide, and five dining venues serving contemporary takes of classic dishes.

Top notch tennis facility. Took two private lessons with Brendan. Played highly competitive tennis through college and he was a human backboard. Great sparing partner. Highly recommend! Overall resort is fantastic. Will be coming back for future trips

I took a total of three private tennis lessons (with Josh and Brendan) - both are excellent tennis pros. They are competent, professional, patient and have a very good didactic approach. There are three clay tennis courts and the are very well maintained.

It’s been one month since our trip and we can’t wait to visit this amazing resort again! Originally we were supposed to stay at another resort on our spring break but when they could not honor our reservation we ended up at the Biltmore! I had mentioned that my son loved the pool and was thrilled when we were placed in a poolside room. The resort is absolutely stunning and I was pleasantly surprised at how kid friendly the resort was. We spent most of our time at the Paradise pool as my son loved the slides! My favorite thing about the slides is that they are clear so it’s super to get an eye on your child! We dined poolside, at Renata’s and McArthurs and each meal was fabulous. Also the drinks at the Wright Bar were amazing! Everyone we encountered was very helpful and friendly and made sure we were having a great stay. We can’t wait to visit again and stay longer next time! Read less

Wow! My 21-yr-old daughter stayed here for two nights after arriving few days in Sedona. Our biggest regret? That we couldn’t stay longer than two nights. We were blown away by the outstanding, quiet service. It’s a big resort, but the people who work there make it feel much smaller, as they made us feel like they knew us at every turn. I was excited about our stay even before we arrived, after talking with DEVON in guest services. I had questions about room types, and he had all the answers! He was personable and professional..:great guy. At check-in, we were greeted by CASEY…again, awesome…he answered all my questions. From there, we went to our room and stopped in at the Citrus Club for a cocktail…SUNNY and ANGEL offered outstanding service every time we visited. They do it all…greet guests, answer questions, concierge work, and even tend bar! The cocktails were perfect! We spent a lot of time at the Saguaro pool, which is the adult-only pool…peaceful sunbathing and great bar/food service. We will definitely be back as soon as I can figure out some dates to go, but next time, we will stay at least four nights! This resort has great facilities and staff. We were impressed! Highly recommend! Read less

I stayed here in August 2024 for a work event. I asked a Bellman to come to my room, but stressed I was across the property and it would take me 10+ minutes to get there(also there was a DND sign on my door). I was told he would come after the 10 minutes or wait. Well he did neither one. He went into the room while I was NOT there and grabbed the item, I needed help with. Didn’t leave a note or anything. So it took me a few minutes to piece together that he came in anyway and took the item. I felt SO VIOLATED. I was traveling alone at the time and requested to be put in a different room. I couldn’t wait for that trip to be over. I will NEVER stay here again. Oh and the icing on the cake, I went to the restaurant by the pool to have the Hummus and Vegetables and found a worm in my vegetables. The staff thought the worm was “so cute” and “wow” those are fresh vegetables (haha). I was disgusted. I was refunded for the item. They took the updated bill back to the table, when I made the bar staff aware of the issue. So NOT bringing the bill back to me, or telling me after several minutes that the bill went back to the table just seemed weird and off. NO THANK YOU to saying here again. Read less
