Baltimore, beautiful

The room was peaceful and the bed was just like home. The building itself has a charm and feels full of history, certainly worth further investigation.
near the Washington Monument and the Peabody

Pleasant boutique hotel in a location right by the Washington Monument and the Peabody Library. Our room was large and had views of the monument. The elevators are small and slow, but that comes with the territory. Good coffee shop in the basement/1st floor.

Amazing property in a great location with a staff that will truly impress you. Asst Manager Loren'za Gordon Jr. is the best. His hospitality is what will keep me coming back.
Why pay so much if you don’t have access to the restaurant and bar

We usually love the venue, but if you cant use the full hotel why pay full price. This was our fourth visit to Hotel Revival. We do choose it because it is in location that we like and is a full service hotel. But this time, due to a wedding the restaurant and bar wasn’t available. While we understand how lucrative a wedding is for the venue, and we love a wedding—this was not known to us at the time of booking. And even though the bar and restaurant were not available, the price was of the room is the same. Never was this situation communicated to us; we found out when we arrived. We would have stayed at n other hotel had we known. This time we also had a room that had temp issue, a wonderful professional maintenance person, had to replace a very dirty HVAC filter. Although over night the temperature climbed again and the room was too warm in the middle of the night. Also one of the bathroom towel rings was loose and the room was quite dusty. There are some lovely hotels in Mt Vernon so next time we will choose a different hotel

Accessibility and Safety Failures at Hotel Revival – Not Recommended for Disabled Guests

I stayed at Hotel Revival Baltimore this past Friday, and I won’t be returning. While unexpected situations like a fire alarm are out of anyone’s control, how a hotel responds—especially with regard to accessibility and safety—matters greatly. Unfortunately, this hotel failed on both fronts.
We had requested an accessible room, but were told none were available because we booked through a third-party site. While frustrating, we initially accepted it—until the fire alarm went off late at night.
We were on the 11th floor. I am a person with a disability and cannot safely descend stairs without assistance. I called the front desk multiple times for help, but no one answered. There was no emergency protocol in place for guests with mobility issues. My partner ended up carrying me down 11 flights of stairs, along with our dog.
Once outside, there were no staff members offering direction, updates, or checking on guests' safety. There was no accountability or communication whatsoever. Had my partner not been with me, I would have been completely stranded in the room, with no clear way out or support from hotel staff.
When I explained this to the front desk afterward, I was told that the fire alarm was “an inconvenience for everyone.” That level of dismissiveness is not just unprofessional—it’s dangerous.
If you or someone you love has accessibility needs, I strongly recommend avoiding this property. Hotel Revival is not prepared for emergencies involving disabled guests, and their lack of training and response could cost lives.
