Once described as ‘the richest, the most exclusive, the most inaccessible club in the world’, the Club on Jekyll Island used to only welcome America’s wealthiest families and famous socialites, from the Rockefellers to the Vanderbilts. Today, this National Historic Landmark has been turned into the equally grand Jekyll Island Club Hotel, where you get a taste of its Victorian heyday and the highlife, with historic tours, croquet on the lawn, dinner in the Grand Dining Room, and strolls along the beach or in the oak forests where Victorian high society would have taken their constitutionals. It’s not all about the past though, you can enjoy modern pleasures like swimming near the river’s edge, and indulging in anything from high-end dishes to frozen drinks and fast food in the 6 bars and restaurants.

The grounds were beautiful. A lot of wildlife. Saw deer and Eagles, and Dolphins, etc. We stayed in one of the cottages and it was just breathtaking! Staff was great. Banquet Team is phenomenal especially Gabor, Sherry & Banquet Manager, I think his name is Atticus? Not sure.
Best resort for family vacations!

As usual, Jekyll Island Club Resort does not disappoint. Mike Hoppey does a wonderful job making guests feel welcome! Jekyll Island Club is truly my family's home away from home! We have been seven times and are looking forward to our eighth trip!
Great place for conference/business meeting

Great service and wonderful views. You have access to everything at the beach club including chairs at the beach which are included in your resort fee. Room is very spacious, although the building is older - thus A/C only
cools to about 70 degrees.
Wonderful trip. Wasn’t long enough, but it’s all the time we had. Looking forward to coming back!!

Loved the quaintness and old-timey feel of everything. Very historical and first class service.! The sunset at the wharf was beautiful and really enjoyed walking the grounds. Wish we had more time to go to the sister resort on the Oceanside, but we only had two nights. Looking forward to coming back.!
Thank you Gabriella
