I really enjoyed my stay with Hyatt Olive 8. Nice, clean modern hotel. Room was well appointed. Food was very good. Forgot a hairbrush, and the one they provided was of good quality. All in all a very good stay at a reasonable price. I will definately return when in Seattle. Can't beat the location in terms of proximity to Convention Centre,… Read more

I was not impressed with our stay unfortunately. The valet parking situation is very inconvenient because they require everyone to valet making wait times extremely long. The energy saver card thing was very confusing making us end up with no lights when we woke up in the middle of the night. And the absolute worst part of the stay making me not come back again is they have their AC preset to not go colder than 66 degrees. I was so in uncomfortable we left early. Read less

This hotel is elegant and relaxing and the staff is pleasant and extremely accommodating. The room was lovely, the hotel is luxurious, clean, and well maintained. I loved the quiet in the middle of the city and the glimpses of green outdoors. Highly recommend!

This should have been a nice stay. The hotel is in a good location, the room I was in was quite spacious, and the staff were fine. But there were three things about the room that I found so unpleasant I'm not sure I'll stay here again. First, the curtains don't adequately cover the windows, so each morning at dawn I was woken up by sunlight around 5:30 AM. Not great if you're trying to get sleep. Second, the thermostat sensor is so far away from the AC unit, all the way at the end of the long hallway and around the corner. It meant there was easily a 10 degree difference between the main room (where the bed is) and the area by the door where the thermostat is. That meant the bedroom was constantly too hot or too cold because the living area always got too much heat or too much cold. Put the thermostat sensor in the place where the guest is! The shower is the worst though: who thought that customers don't want to have a warm shower? The combination of the half-open shower, which lets out all the warmth, and the tiny showerhead, which puts out an anemic volume of water, makes for a truly miserable showering experience. At least if there was wide rain shower head, the person could get under the water for warmth. I expect more of a Hyatt and am dissapointed in this hotel. Read less

Would have been a wonderful stay had the hotel told us when we requested a room for three adults that a king is for 3 and was unwilling to make accommodations especially for my 76 year old mother. We had requested & booked several weeks in advance.
