The hotel

Boasting some of Las Vegas’ finest rooms and suites after a $380 million dollar transformation, it’s easy to understand why. The accommodation is divided between four majestic towers with wonderful views of the Las Vegas Strip, the Spring Mountains and the hotel’s incredible pool. Then there's the Tank, as the swimming complex is known, comes complete with a shark tank, 3-storey waterslide and 13 private cabanas for hire. There’s also an infinity pool, aptly named The Hideout, which is strictly for adults only. Other temptations include a superb spa with steam rooms, sauna, massage and beauty treatments plus a state-of-the-art fitness centre to work off those American-sized portions! Several restaurants are at your disposal, including Vic and Anthony’s, one of the country’s finest steakhouses. Alternatively, head to Chart House for sumptuous seafood, Red for Pan-Asian cuisine or Grotto for Italian fare. Come sundown, Troy Liquor Bar is the place to be with a lively atmosphere, DJs and exotic cocktails. An incredible hotel with an incredible range of amenities, look out in particular for the Hand of Faith in the lobby - a 61-pound gold nugget found in Australia in 1980 with a metal detector just six inches below ground – now that’s Lady Luck at her finest!

Hate it. Took over a hour a half to get settled. Visiting for my husband’s birthday. First room, door was ajar and hair all over the bathroom floors.(housekeeping supervisor took pictures). Received call that I was being room changed. The instead of sending up the news I was told to bring my luggage back to the desk to get new keys. I had to… Read more

Received call that I was being room changed. The instead of sending up the news I was told to bring my luggage back to the desk to get new keys. I had to ask that the keys be delivered so that we are not going back and forth. Second room reeked of smoke. Finally got to third room and I guess as punishment we are now looking at the garage. There was no apology or service recovery offered. Read less

We have stayed here 3 times and have not been disappointed. The kiosks to check in made getting to our rooms so much faster. Gold tower king- easy access to Fremont Street, coffee maker and mini-fridge! Friendly staff, especially the door man and bag attendants. The pool was closed due to weather on the day we had planned. I went ahead and booked a 1-night stay in two rooms for my father's 79th birthday. Due to use arriving to the hotel earlier than expected. We place our belongings in a friend's room. A few of our friends booked rooms at the golden nugget due to the celebration. (after all, there is no telling how much longer my pops will be around) We ended up getting our room keys at 4:30 pm or so from the kiosk machine. We were assigned to room 1588 and 1853. We ended up taking my dad to his room at 1:30 am due to him being tired and needed his meds. Unfortunately, we were unable to get into his room due to the keys not working. Luckly I was able to get my dad into his room with the help of security after walking back and forth. I then ended up going to the other room (1853) only to find the keys did not work. I ended up walking back and forth from the rooms to the front desk 3 times. Which ended up wasting my vacation, rest time and Sleep. Front Desk Clerk finally ended up getting Giovanni involved who found that somehow room 1853 was actually given to someone else he did not understand why I was having issues with the keys. Giovanni did explain to me that he was limited with he was able to to do, and asked me to reach out to KC. I did explain to Giovanni that due to how long it has taken me to get into a room that I should actually be given a refund for both night and 2 comp rooms for future stays. He again informed me i needed to reach out to KC. I did reach out to KC and was given the option of a refund or a 2-night comp stay for two rooms to be used within a year. I ended up choosing the refund due to me not knowing if i will make it to Vegas within the year. I was informed by KC to call back if i did not get a refund within 7 days. As of today, I have not received my refund. I have called 4 times in the last week, each time i have been told that KC is not available and that he will return my call. As of this email I have not received a call back from him with my oldest messages being about 6 days old. I find it hard to believe today is the 25th day and the issue has still not been resolved. (This issue has been a major inconvenience; I have spent about 6 total hrs. and counting on trying to get this issue resolved. Time to include walking back and forth from room to front desk due to keys not working, waiting to be allowed into my dad's room the next day due to his key not working, (my dad is in a wheelchair and requires assistance. So my brother and I help get him ready in the morning) The time i waited in line for the re issuing of keys that did not work, I have also spent time making phone calls and wait to speak to KC. At this point, i honest think the right thing to do is issue the refund ASAP and give me 2 rooms with a 2 night comp at a mini. a food credit should be added in good faith due to this experience. After all this is a hospitality business. As you can tell from this email I have been more then patient on this matter. I have not left any neg feedback prior to this email due to me thinking it would have been resolved by now. I hope to hear back management soon and hope to update this when it has been resolved. We came here for a little bit of gambling and it wasn’t the best. The staff seemed really slow and it seemed like the host of our roulette table was on her first day! It was a shady place and I didn’t really enjoy it. It was also hard to get a drink so I won’t be rushing back there!
