Well-connected, the name lets slip the hotel’s ‘link’ to extra food, fun and frivolity. The guestrooms are hip and high-tech, but you won’t be there much with the LINQ’s endless diversions. The centrepiece is the High Roller – the world’s tallest observation wheel, at 550-ft high it takes 30 minutes to do the full loop. You’re also ‘linked’ to an exclusive shopping, entertainment and dining promenade. And, of course, the all-essential Vegas casino. Over 21s can enjoy the pool, with nightly swims twice a week, Champagne Sundays and pool deck misting. Then there are the other decadences: the Brooklyn Bowl, a massive bowling and live music venue, and endless dining and drinking establishments, including 24-hour Hash House A Go Go, whose colossal portions featured on ‘Man v Food’.

I have been to the Linq two of my three Vegas stays. I would recommend for anyone that is looking for a fun getaway. The rooms are not luxurious however they are updated, clean and affordable!

The quick meals and coffee shops on the main floor lobby are also super convenient.
Great variety of gaming options in the casino. The pool is definitely more of a younger party vibe than relaxation. With that said, if you are looking to relax, consider a cabana a little away from the pool.
Housekeeping and staff were friendly to me on both occasions.

Not worth the price

For the price, the hotel is just average. You have to request a fridge which is an additional $20/night, unless it's for a medical purpose. There are no microwaves in the hotel. My room was dirty, with chetos under the table, something red on the wall by the trashcan in the bathroom (blood or lipstick, who knows) and water stains from cups in the…

Not impressed at all! If you have kiddos, the pool is for adults only and you'll have to walk to harrah to swim with them. The only upside to staying at the Linq is the promenade that is right in the back of the hotel. Likely will not stay here again.

We recently stayed at The Linq Hotel in Las Vegas for 2 nights (17th-19th July). Although this was my second stay at the hotel after an enjoyable visit in 2023, I was really disappointed with my experience on this occasion and personally felt that the quality of service I received at the hotel was sub-par and massively affected my trip for the worse.
When I originally booked my room, months in advance, I requested a room with a view overlooking the Strip. Unfortunately, the actual room we were allocated backed directly onto the parking lot, meaning the majority of our view was a grey concrete wall, about 3 metres from the window. It was also 40C+ during our stay, and we had booked a twin room, yet the hotel only provided us with one single (paper) cup to have a much-needed drink of water…! Since my last stay, in an obvious cost-cutting move, the hotel has decided to remove tea and coffee making facilities from the rooms - when I inquired about this, I was informed I could rent one for $10 a day. I felt this was particularly stingy and mean-spirited, especially since the hotel already adds on many additional taxes such as the ‘resort fee’ and excessive parking fees. This is surely a basic amenity that any hotel guest would typically find in their room. I paid more for my stay this time, for a lot, lot less!
In terms of parking, my father and I often struggled to pay the parking ticket on the self-service machine, as it doesn’t accept cash - everytime this issue arose, a person temporarily validated our parking. However, at the end of our stay, we discovered that our parking had been automatically added to our bill - so thank goodness the machine HADN’T been working, or we would have been spending an additional $25 a day on top of what had already been taken! Again, there was zero clarity about this and I am sure many guests end up inadvertently paying double for parking as a result, which the hotel seemingly turns a blind eye to?
Finally, as tourists from the UK, we primarily use cash in the US so we don’t pick up unnecessary non-sterling transaction fees. However, the hotel refused to accept cash to pay the (roughly) $56 per night resort fee, which seems ridiculous, since cash is readily accepted everywhere else on the premises, eg. restaurants, supposedly for parking… It just felt like The Linq really didn’t care about us having an enjoyable experience at all - we were simply a means to end and were left feeling pretty extorted by them. As a word of advice, you would be better researching other hotels the Strip which offer a better, more positive and affordable experience - for instance, we visited Alexis Park for the All Shook Up show and they offered free parking, which is a dramatic reduction in overall costs for your trip. I would sadly not come back to The Linq, and my visit on this occasion tarnished my previous positive recollections of the hotel.

Stayed for 3 nights. Room was perfect. No issues. Good room rate. No waiting for the elevator. No line at the self check-in kiosk. No problems getting in or out of the parking garage.
Great Place to Stay!!
