My wife and I have been going to Las Vegas, the last 10 years for our anniversary. This timeout we decided to stay at the Virgin Hotel. I will admit the Virgin hotel is very beautiful inside and out with exceptional customer service staff. I just wish that the restaurants could measure up to the rest of its decor. My wife and I ate at the Breakfast Kitchen and it was mediocre at best. We paid for the breakfast buffet and had bacon, sausage, French toast, eggs, waffles, parfait, croissants and house potatoes. The bacon was like beef jerky, the scramble eggs were broken up so fine. That one needed a spoon to catch them from falling off your plate. The waffles, croissants and house potatoes were warm at best. The parfait and omelet were very good along with exceptional customer service. But the restaurant didn't match the status of the rest of the hotel. The amenities are 2nd to none including the pools and the weight room facilities. I would have given the a 5. But that restaurant experience had my wife and I eat out at other establishments. Read less

Arrived at the Curio Hotel for a 3 week stay for the first time since COVID. Pleasant welcome registration, in clean and tidy registration area, leading straight into the Casino. Only a standard room but large and spacious, requested a small fridge to the room maid and was delivered within minutes. From the start of our holiday we found all the staff friendly and professional, had a good conversation and relationship with quite a few staff from the security, maids, bistro, Casino dealers and waitresses especially Kim and security guy called Gary. Pool areas were immaculate and very well staffed. No negatives during our stay and can’t wait to return next year, for maybe a longer stay. Thanks Curio, from Jackie and Gordon Richards room 31216. Check in was very robotic and I was just asked for my credit card and hand some piece of paper and asked to take a picture of it. I later found out after viewing it was a list a places I could use my Hilton My Way benefits. The lobby area was very quiet and in the casino there were only 2 people playing the slot machines and the tables empty. The Cherry rewards desk I never saw it open in 2 days so not sure how they are going to get any new members. I had booked a King Room but when I got to my room I saw it just had 2 double beds. I called the front desk and was told they had sold out of King Rooms so gave me what they had left which I am sure they can do under the biased terms and conditions. The room was large and had a large Samsung TV which allowed streaming from your phone and had a number of apps like YouTube which was a nice feature. The WiFi was very slow and dropped out all the time. Next to the bed there were power sockets and USB ports. The bathroom was nice but the water pressure in the basin and shower was very poor and not acceptable in my opinion. I had breakfast one day in the Kitchen and even though the food was good the service was appalling. I wasn’t even offered an orange juice and it wasn’t available to get yourself. The only time I saw the server was when he showed me to the table and when he gave me the bill with a QR code to pay the bill and his tip. This property has no idea about guest service and no idea how the Hilton program works and didn’t feel they acknowledged or cared about my Hilton reward status. The hotel has a low price for a reason and it’s not really walkable to the Las Vegas strip as I tried it and it took a good 40 minutes walk in high temperatures. The property has a lot to learn about hospitality and even though the check out was 11am the maid knocked and entered my room at 9:20am to clean the room even though they had offered me a late check out of 12pm. I left at 11am as could not wait to leave. I didn’t find any of the staff friendly or interested in its guests and until they change this approach their room rates will always be very low. My rate didn’t get charged a $50 resort fee as they have removed it for the summer, so that was at least a plus and a number of hotels are removing the resort fees apart from MGM, Caesars and some of the popular Hilton like Elara who can sell there rooms at a high price. I therefore could not recommend this property despite the low room rate and didn’t enjoy my stay. Read less

First time staying here This hotel does not fully recognise Gold Hilton members and just make up their own rules. If staying 2 days you have to use all your myway benefits in the first day which is ridiculous and near impossible to speak to anyone in charge. Had breakfast in The Kitchen which was dreadful and they have a habit here of just pushing a vericode in front of you and tell you to do it online,so impersonal Most of the staff here are rude and unhelpful And despite what anyone tells you it’s NOT walkable to the strip and the area around the hotel at night is not very pleasant. And not the cleanest hotel, the rails on my balcony were filthy! Read less
