It's NYC and the village to boot so rooms are (as to be expected) small but we were comfortable and had everything we needed. Most importantly, the rooms are clean. Front desk staff, housekeeping and restaurant servers are all friendly and accommodating. The entire hotel has a dark, sultry feel to it in a very interesting way. We'll be back!

From the moment I walked down the stairs to the lobby, I loved the Walker, and every time I returned, I felt like I was coming home. The room was small, but well-appointed and updated. The bed was amazingly comfortable. The staff were all very friendly and accommodating, but Dale was especially helpful and outgoing. His warm personality makes him a great ambassador for the Walker Hotel! The location is perfect for access to West Village, Chelsea, the High Line and SOHO. There’s a subway stop a block and a half away. I will definitely stay here again and will recommend it to friends.

Personality abounds; every staff member connects genuinely with guests; having conversations not just transactions. Great food, live music; quiet central location. Comfortable Art Deco furnishings, daily housekeeping. Society Cafe, Bar and Lobby are a…

Lobby is warm and inviting with lots of cozy nooks. Staff is very accommodating and friendly. On-site restaurant is a local favorite for good reason. Rooms are a little outdated, and it's a tight squeeze if you request a fridge. Overall good though.

I gave my ID and credit card to the receptionist she did not tell me how much the room was she just told me to enter my credit card. when my card was declined I asked her what the name on the reservation was and she gave me the wrong name. She had the wrong Smith how could she get the wrong person when she had my ID in front of her. she almost charged my card $2000 for one night. she had an attitude about it and didn’t apologize. And the reason why it Was because she was socializing with a coworker . She had the rudest look on her face for almost charging my card with the incorrect amount when she had all the information in front of her face. also the shower would not drain. I was standing in a pool of water, disgusting and the shampoo conditioner and soap bottles were only half full. This was a horrible experience from the moment I got there to the moment I left for such a pretty hotel with an efficiency rating of a C ——-DO better. this is peoples money, regardless of their lifestyle. We’re there to have a good time. Make sure your employees make that happen and make sure you’re building is running efficiently. I stayed at the Soho grand and I had such a better experience for about the same price
