Our shower was great but are other parties said it just spat water at them .

There are so many hotels to choose from .

Horrible service and experience

The hotel clearly states that check-in is at 3:00 PM. However, at reception, they failed to provide our accommodation on time, delaying it by an hour because the rooms weren’t cleaned promptly. When I asked why the check-in was delayed and how we could be compensated, the person at the desk (whose name was Destinee, I believe) started acting rudely and refused any compensation. She claimed the hotel is not obligated to check anyone in at exactly 3:00 PM, but instead (quote) “anytime starting from 3 PM” (so don’t be surprised if they check you in at 8:00 PM with no compensation, then charge you a late checkout fee if you’re even 10 minutes late). When I showed her the hotel’s own policy on their website, she simply replied, “Whatever.” As a result, my family of five had to wait an extra hour after a 16-hour flight just to get some rest.
Another issue was the elevators. The building has over 30 floors but only three elevators, and just two of those were actually working. Since hotel personnel use the same elevators for their own purposes, expect to spend up to 20-30 minutes waiting for one.

Bed bugs

First night air con not working in excessive heat.
But worse than this next we had bed bug bite on our legs. Reported to front desk who just gave a shoulder shrug response saying “ so, what os your question?” Rather than we are sorry we will attend to it immediately
Bed bugs!

This hotel is in a good location and rooms are decent size. However, the elevator issue aside, we had some more major issues. In the first room we were assigned the air conditioning did not work (it was over 80 degrees in the room). We called the front desk who sent an engineer. We went out for food and on our return it had not been fixed. Went to the front desk who said it would be fixed the next day and offered us two other rooms (not connected as we had booked) or the use of fans. We opted for fans as could not be far apart from our children in the second room. Returned to our room to find the key cards wouldn’t work, returned to reception twice for new keys but none worked. Had to wait for an engineer to come and fix it.
After a terrible sleep with the loud fans, we went out for the day with the promise that the air conditioning would be fixed when we got back. It wasn’t! We then were offered two adjacent rooms on the 26th floor which we accepted. These rooms were nice so we were happy until … my partner and I noticed we had bites on our bodies. We went to a local pharmacy who said we had bed bug bites!! Felt sick. Went to front desk to inform them that our original room had a bed bug problem. They were not interested at all, in fact the girl on reception with the blonde hair and glasses asked me what my question was! My question is why has a room in a Hilton hotel got a bed bug infestation?
On our return we have written two emails to the manager to complain and they have not answered at all. We will be writing to Hilton head office. It was awful.

Stay Away from this hotel !!
Aug 22, 2025Kevin G
Stay AWAY , One of the 3 elevators is not working, it’s been this way for days and NOBODY IS FIXING IT AND THE HOTEL STAFF DONT CARE ., The wait for an elevator to come down from your room is insane !! This “Hotel” is over 30 floors high . I’m telling you,, you will have a miserable stay if you come to this hotel !.
