The hotel staff are wonderful. I want to particularly share about Monica from housekeeping for going out her way to make everything was perfect in our room. Delightful, energetic and committed to excellence.

Hilton Review I’m currently sat on the floor in the lobby of the hotel surrounded by my bags. Why am I doing this? Because I’m being picked up in 30 minutes and the hotel couldn’t accommodate a slightly late check out. Furthermore, the concierge is charging $5 per bag to hold! $5 per bag for my family would be $40. I’m stunned. No hotel I’ve stayed in around the world has charged a fee to hold onto my bags for any period of time, let alone just 30 minutes. I’m sat on the floor, because there is barely any seating in the lobby of this giant hotel. Ridiculous. Both at check in and check out I encountered rude staff, who did the bare minimum with an unwelcoming negative attitude. The tiny bathroom didn’t have a mirror that allows you to see your face close up, so who knows what I looked like in these New York streets this whole trip! Our room had a pull out bed for our daughter to sleep on, but the bedding was just a thin scratchy sheet. We asked for a duvet, but were just given 2 more thin sheets. The housekeepers and bar staff I dealt with were all friendly and professional, which I appreciated. But on the whole, a less than positive experience here at the Hilton Midtown New York. Read less

I had a frustrating experience at Hilton Midtown NYC. The front desk agent was rude and refused to explain charges I didn’t recognize on my credit card. When I spoke to the manager, Rollins, she defended the employee and didn’t even apologize. This level of service is unacceptable for a Hilton. I won’t be returning.

The only thing good about this hotel, is its location. I stayed as part of the NCORE conference and was put in a room that had a bed where the cushion in the bedhead was crumbling, there was no refrigerator in the room and I was told I would need to pay $35 a day to get one. I have never been in any hotel where this was not just standard. There… Read more

I have never been in any hotel where this was not just standard. There was nothing to make coffee or tea in the room. When I went to the cafe as directed, sometimes I was given hot water for free and other times I was told I would need to pay for it. One of my worst hotel experiences ever. Read less

The staff at this hotel were incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. The rooms were immaculate and very clean and comfortable. We also loved the convenient location close to major tourist attractions.
