463 chambers across 38 floors, all of which are uniquely designed and consist of two spaces separated by sliding doors. The first area ‘The Dressing Room’ features a full vanity, make up desk with mirror, extra large shower, and a closet for two. On the other side of the sliding door is ‘The Lounge’ featuring the bed, mini-bar*, and HDTV. All chambers feature floor-to-ceiling windows, air-conditioning, yoga mat, custom sensor lighting, ample outlets for smartphones, laptops and other electronic devices, and bathroom amenities.

King Chambers feature 1 king-size bed, sleeping maximum 2 adults.

Commons Club (bar and lounge featuring regular live entertainment). Everdene (dining and cocktail destination with entertainment-anchored spaces. Breakfast, lunch and dinner. Happy Hour Monday-Friday from 4:00pm-8:00pm). The Pool Club (serving cocktails and sharing plates, with regular live DJ’s, guests over 21 years only from 11.30am onwards). Funny Library Coffee Shop.

Fun and Games

Outdoor rooftop pool (open seasonal, weather permitting). Poolside sun loungers* and cabanas*. Library.

Please note: Poolside loungers and cabanas are available on a complimentary, first-come-first-service basis between the hours of 8.00-11.30am daily, for all ages. “Don’t stay here!”

This was one of the worst hotels I stayed at. Room was extremely loud as there is a roof top and had a party till 2am and rooms are not well insulated because it seemed like the party was inside my room. Elevators don’t work well. Room was extremely small, even for 2 people.

This is my 3rd trip to NYC in 4 weeks. I have stayed at Crowne Plaza, Hilton Fashion District and Millenium Broadway. This is BY FAR the most superior room, service, atmosphere. Signature Virgin: we have done 8 VV cruises (HIGHLY RECOMMEND). Cool, funky, signature red touches (barn door bathroom, red refrigerator, red bathroom fixtures). Also - THE COFFEE!!! Really great Nespresso machine in the room - I'm hooked. Never staying anyplace else again if I can help it (great walking distance to Times Square, Penn Plaza - great district!). Very cosmopolitan; people from all over the world speaking many languages. Cool and funky vibes. The bars and the restaurants are fantastic!

Whenever I travel to NYC on business, I'm fortunate that I can bring my family with me to see the sights and enjoy their stay while I'm working. To say that the staff at Virgin goes above and beyond to ensure we're all comfortable is an understatement. First, they understand the needs of young infants and accommodate breast milk storage, as well as exceptional customer service for last-minute needs. Everyone from the check-in concierge to baggage handlers, cleaning staff, and elevator attendants are always looking to check in with you about your day in the city and what they can do to help you have the best evening. The gym and amenities are outstanding, as well as the location right in the heart of the Flatiron. But the VIEWS are incredible. If you take the time to engage with the Virgin team, I'm sure they will do their utmost to get you a desirable room with the most stunning city views. Truly a 5-star hotel, and I won't stay anywhere else when I'm in town. Cheers! -Peter
