463 chambers across 38 floors, all of which are uniquely designed and consist of two spaces separated by sliding doors. The first area ‘The Dressing Room’ features a full vanity, make up desk with mirror, extra large shower, and a closet for two. On the other side of the sliding door is ‘The Lounge’ featuring the bed, mini-bar*, and HDTV. All chambers feature floor-to-ceiling windows, air-conditioning, yoga mat, custom sensor lighting, ample outlets for smartphones, laptops and other electronic devices, and bathroom amenities.

King Chambers feature 1 king-size bed, sleeping maximum 2 adults.

There is a resort fee of $35 plus tax per room, per night (payable locally, fee subject to change).

Dining

Commons Club (bar and lounge featuring regular live entertainment). Everdene (dining and cocktail destination with entertainment-anchored spaces. Breakfast, lunch and dinner. Happy Hour Monday-Friday from 4:00pm-8:00pm). The Pool Club (serving cocktails and sharing plates, with regular live DJ’s, guests over 21 years only from 11.30am onwards). Funny Library Coffee Shop.

We had a really enjoyable stay at Virgin Hotels New York and were very impressed with the way the team looked after us. The hotel is fantastically located for just about everything we wanted to do in New York, and the views are stunning. We particularly enjoyed the pool, and the Riff Raff Club bar was excellent…. a great place to start, or spend, an evening! We did have an issue with our room during the stay, but the team dealt with it quickly and professionally and made sure we were happy, which really helped us enjoy the rest of our time there. After returning home, I also noticed a small discrepancy on our final bill. Liz Lam was extremely helpful in getting to the bottom of it, was friendly and professional throughout, and made sure everything was corrected. Things occasionally go wrong at any hotel, but for me the important thing is how they are dealt with, and I came away very impressed with the way the team handled both situations. We had a great time in New York and are very much looking forward to staying at Virgin Hotels New York again.

We stayed in this hotel for 5 nights earlier this month. Overall the stay was great. The pool is lovely, small but sufficient for families. Our two children used the pool twice over our 5 night stay. The only downside is the time restrictions for when children can use it. My only real negative was the housekeeping of the room, the day we arrived we found a couple of acrylic nails, that a previous guest had obviously clipped and not been picked up by housekeeping. The tissue box in the room had two tissues in on our first night, this was not replaced until day four. I had even taken the tissue holder and placed it to show it was empty. The room is quite compact for a family of four with young children, but thankfully we spent very little time in the room. Location is good, far enough to miss the lights and noise from Times Square.
